Customer Reviews for R & D Tattooing
Tommy Sheffield — 5/5 (via Google)
My favorite shop. I go here every summer, and the artists are all experts in their craft. I recommend American traditional, Japanese, but you can really get anything there. Artists I've worked with are Dave, Jeremy, and Strauss, and all the tattoos looked great and healed well, and they were all walk-ins.
Hugo Portorreal — 5/5 (via Google)
R&D tattoo is awesome and Tony Kaplan is a super talented artist and an incredibly professional dude. I walked in with 4 ugly outlines from 15 years ago and I walked out with one beautiful colorful bird on my arm. Tony listened to what I wanted and figured out a way to cover up my old tattoos. He made sure I was comfortable through the process and by the time it was over I had forgotten it was supposed to hurt. The finished product is actually my favorite tattoo and I don’t think I’ve ever said that about any of my tattoos. The whole crew at R&D is warm and friendly. The next time I get a tattoo, I’m going to Tony Kaplan at R&D and you should too!
