Been looking for a good barber that can take care of my beard. After 2 years, i stumbled onto these guys. One word AWESOME! Jeremy is now my go to guy. The atmosphere is great, super chill, The professionalism shines through. From the initial phone call (“Q” was super polite) to the way Jeremy greeted me and took the time to find out exactly what i wanted. He genuinely listened as we had a conversation about it. It is a little pricey but you pay for quality and this is QUALITY. So glad i found them.

This is my first time coming to this barber shop. I scheduled a beard trim/shaping with MJ based on reviews from his profile. He met me as I walked in the door, introduced himself and had me sit in the chair. He asked me what I was wanting to do with my beard, I showed a picture of what I was looking for and he went to work. He told me every step along the way of what he was doing and how he was achieving what I hoped for. Once it was all done, it was amazing. He even gave some care tips and how to clean-up stray hair until my next visit. Superb experience.

Absolutely 100% without a doubt recommend this place for people of all ages! This place is very welcoming and friendly first of all but most importantly the quality of work is outstanding. Mike J met me for the first time. As far as he knew, I was a one time customer from out of state. He spent time understanding what I was looking for and what I didn’t like about my current haircut. He explained his decisions in some changes which I supported 100%. I really enjoyed his effort, and will be back here next year when I return to Florida in February.

I'm not local, so first time at Rakish - Good conversation and Carter seems like a really nice guy, however the cut was too short as it went higher up on my head. I had mentioned when I sat down it should be No4 back and side then scissor cut. So from my perspective too much use of the clippers. I may have been able to stop that before it was too late if I was facing the mirror as the sides were done but because I was sideways I couldn't see what was happening. I'm sure this is fine for a lot of people but for me it will be a few weeks of growth before I'll be able to get my hair looking right again.. Biggest takeaway - if your client is new, make sure they can see the cut at all times and talk to them about the next move before you commit.
