Relax Lab

Yeni at Relax Lab set me up and guided me through my very first float tank experience — what I’m now lovingly calling “floating” — and it was nothing short of transformative. I had just been driving for multiple hours before my appointment, carrying all of that tension and restlessness that builds up on a long road trip. The moment I settled into the float tank, every single bit of that sensation just disappeared. Immediately. No gradual fade, no slow unwinding — it was instant, complete peace. That alone would have made the visit worthwhile, but what came next elevated the entire experience to another level. The massage that followed was, in my estimation, one of the greatest massages I have ever received — and I’ve literally been around the world. I’ve had massages in countless cities and countries, from high-end spas to hidden local gems, and Yeni’s skill and dedication to her craft are truly unparalleled. There’s a precision and an intuition to her work that you just don’t find everywhere. She clearly takes what she does seriously, and it shows in every moment on the table. What makes the whole experience even more special is getting to know Yeni as a person. Listening to her talk about the memories she’s built with the people who come through Relax Lab, hearing about what it was like over all those years building the place up from the ground — you can feel the love and passion she has for this business. It’s not just a job to her. It’s something she’s poured her heart into, and that kind of genuine care radiates through everything, from the atmosphere of the space to the quality of her work. If you’re looking for a world-class massage therapist who has truly mastered her craft, or if you’re curious about trying your first float, go see Yeni at Relax Lab. I promise you’ll leave feeling like a completely different person.

We worked with Laura Barton at Relax Lab Family for our daughter, pre and post tongue tie release. We were recommended to use her by our Lactation Consultant, Caroline Pillsbury, due to hardships in breastfeeding we were experiencing. Laura was so down to earth while being knowledgeable with a holistic approach. She was gentle yet effective with my newborn, while being encouraging to us on our journey throughout. I will gladly go to her again for any of her services and would highly recommend!

My first massage (yes, really) which was a gift from my daughter (from Christmas LAST year). The appointment was super easy to make online, and was pleasantly surprised on how easy and laid back the whole process was! Greeted warmly at the desk, and everything that would happened was explained clearly. Johna was phenomenal, and I was so relaxed by the time I left. Highly recommend, I will certainly be back!

This was such an amazing experience I had here! All of the staff were knowledgeable and so sweet and accommodating. The float tub took away all the stress feeling in my body that builds up from work and life. I just felt completely at ease! I’ve already book another appointment for next month to try a facial with them. Great establishment!

Relax Lab has been such a God-send for me - mentally and physically. I have tried so many things to deal with this illness, and float tanks are one of the few I have very noticeable immediate and long-term improvement. When I leave, I feel like I’ve had an incredible massage, skin treatment, and meditation. I’ve been on disability with an autoimmune disease for a few years now; it’s terrible. I had tried float tanks a few times with both immediate result. I thought I would try Relax Lab when I moved to Tyler. It’s so much better than I hoped. They have 3 different styles of tanks: the usual pod, but with a lot of features; an open tank, great for my family members with claustrophobia; and an enclosed tank, my personal favorite. I joined their membership for a great discount, making floats much more available to me. I’ve had great relief from this. I once went with pain at a 7, crumpled over as I came in; I left walking normal with pain at a 2 (very low for me). As I am able to go more often with the membership, I’ve noticed lower pain, higher energy, and a general higher quality of life. The pricing, multiple options, and the relief it gives me makes my life so much better. I would recommend this to anyone.
