The salon had a very relaxing feel and was clean. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I was offered wine or cold water upon seating. I had a few broken nails from my last fill. My nail tech fixed them up easily! She was thorough and detailed. However I was still in and out quickly. Price was in line with those in the area and only slightly higher than my hometown salon in the burbs.

I have been coming to Rex regularly for dip manicures since moving to South Waterfront a little over a year and half ago. Phong is incredible (the other staff members are great too). He takes his time, and gives so much attention to detail so that my nails always come out perfect. I have been getting dip for the past 10 years, and have gone to a lot of different places, but the dip at Rex has been the highest quality and lasted longer than any other place!!! I should’ve written this review a long time ago as their current rating DOES NOT reflect the excellent service I’ve consistently received.

My mother and I walked in on a random day got simultaneous walk in appointments and beautiful manicure for a great price. About 3 weeks later I came back for a polish removal service; again as a walk in appointment. I waited less then 2 minutes, and boom, someone was ready to take my polish off. I was nervous they’d try to passionately upsell me to get a new manicure but they respected the service I requested, competed it, and sent me away with a smile. Great place will Absolutely return!
