About Royal Flesh Tattoo and Piercing
Royal Flesh Tattoo and Piercing benefits from the strongest advertising there is in Chicago: word of mouth. People swing by for everything from simple piercings to full custom tattoo work. They are a retail outlet, so they also feature a wide range of aftercare products and jewelry to keep new piercings looking their best.
When someone walks in, they're usually greeted by a friendly face ready to consult on their ideas. The artists take the time to understand what the client wants, sketches out designs, and makes sure everyone is on the same page before any needles come out. Folks often comment on how comfortable the environment feels, which is a big plus when you're about to get inked. Royal Flesh's installation service for body modifications is also a huge part of their draw.
What makes them special is how seriously they take cleanliness and safety. They use top-of-the-line sterilization equipment and follow strict protocols, which puts a lot of minds at ease. Plus, they are open seven days a week, from 12-8PM, so it's easier to find an appointment time that works, unlike some other places around here. That consistent scheduling helps a lot of returning patrons plan ahead.
The shop has been a staple in the neighborhood for years. The positive reviews online are a testament to the quality of their work and the relationships they build with their clients. The fact that so many people keep coming back speaks volumes about the trust they've earned. They're not just a tattoo shop; they're part of the Chicago community.

Customer Reviews for Royal Flesh Tattoo and Piercing
Jacqueline Urban — 5/5 (via Google)
Got my ears pierced with Ery, they were amazing, helped me plan out timing of all my piercings (mixture of lobe and cartilage piercings). I felt very comfortable, the place was very clean, everything went super smoothly. I will definitely be back for the rest of my piercings once these ones heal up.
Elizabeth Dziedzic — 5/5 (via Google)
They did such a good job piercing me. Barely felt a thing! Lylia was super great with making sure I felt comfortable and relaxed getting pierced and was very clean and sanitary throughout the whole thing. It's been healing very well and I stopped feeling pain by the next day. So happy with the results!
Logan Friese — 5/5 (via Google)
Had an overall great experience here. Angelo was my artist and he killed it with the design, line work and shading. He made me feel very comfortable and the atmosphere of the place was very chill. Highly suggest checking them out.
Tesha Whitman — 5/5 (via Google)
The artists are great. Worked with me on price. Joshua even came in on his day off because he was as interested in doing my piece as i was having it done. Plenty of sass/sarcasm to go around which I love in general. Got the appointment set up all the way from Tampa, Florida. Already saving up so I can get a companion piece done.
