This was my first time trying Rustic. Kirsten did an amazing job trimming and styling my hair for a maternity shoot. My hair is very fine and I struggle to style my hair without it going limp and frizzy quickly. Kirsten took that info into consideration and styled my hair in a way that made the curls last all through our windy photo shoot and the rest of the night. I brought inspiration pics and it turned out exactly how I'd hoped it would. I highly recommend and would definitely go back again!

I recently saw Chloe at Rustic salon for a lash lift and tint. She was excellent! My lashes are stubborn straight and the outcome was better than I could have expected. I highly recommend Chloe!

I moved to Ankeny about two years ago, and with that move came the difficult task of giving up an excellent stylist I absolutely adored. I tried several salons in and around Ankeny, but nothing filled the void left by my longtime stylist — until I was lucky enough to schedule an appointment with an unfamiliar stylist at Rustic Salon. That stylist, Kirsten, turned out to be a true artist. She made me look better than I thought possible. She is funny, kind, and genuinely interesting, and she creates an experience that is relaxing, enjoyable, and truly rejuvenating. I feel incredibly blessed to have found her. Finding Kirsten has been such a gift. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone wanting both beautiful results and a wonderful experience.

Rustic salon is amazing, everyone there is very professional. They all work together and help each other out often and they are very friendly and welcoming the moment you step through the door. I've had 2 perms now, once from Hailey and just today Chloe gave me a perm and im so in love with my hair, they've done an amazing job. I always walk away feeling happy. I will continue to go to rustic salon for my perms and cuts. They will listen to what you want a give great advice on what might work best for the style you want. Thank you rustic salon.

I came to rustic with a mess of a haircut from the salon I went to prior. I was hopeful that it could be fixed while still trying to be realistic that what I wanted wouldn’t be obtainable because of how uneven my hair was. Kaitlyn was my stylist and all I can say is she knocked it out the park! Not only did she fix the mess I had I going on, but she exceeded my expectations and gave me far more than hair cut and style. She has given me confidence again. I will definitely be going to Kaitlyn from here on out and if you want a great cut and great experience I recommend you do as well!! If you are struggling finding someone who listens and gives you exactly what your wanting this is the place for you!
