I went there on 2/12/2026 after searching all day for a salon god put Coronado salon right in my face and I called and thank god they had availability especially before Valentine’s Day ! EMELY took care of me and she fulfilled everything you could imagine , made me the most comfortable and assisted not only to my hair’s needs but to my own personal needs !! She can do it all literally , along with other talented woman there I saw beautiful techniques to getting that pop of color hair you want and they are very educational on how to maintain your hair and keep it healthy ! They had the best vibes no judgement and nothing but laughter and a good environment period. EMELY is your girl for anything that you need !! I promise I had no clue on what to do with my hair and if your a girl like me that works a lot and keeps her hair up and really doesn’t do much she will inspire you and educate you on new ideas for your hair and help you along the process of deciding what style , cut etc. but also taking into consideration what YOU WANT ! She didn’t do anything she wanted to do she took in my values and what I saw for my hair and just added to it !! I came in for a cut and ended up with bohemian braids !! So it goes to show how creative, inspirational, and talented EMELY and the group of woman working there are !! They need more credit for what they do !

If I could leave more stars I would! I got a Brazilian 3 days ago which looked and felt amazing. I just washed my hair and it didn’t damage my curl pattern at all—definitely helped to manage my frizz. BOOK WITH EMELY YOU WON’T REGRET IT! She is so down to earth and friendly. I love how she explained what she was doing with each step and made sure I felt comfortable. The environment here is so chill and I left looking as good as I felt. Will definitely be booking again!

Aileen is amazing and so friendly! I absolutely love my hair (we did a vibrant magenta with purple low lights). The atmosphere of the salon is cute and cozy, Aileen and Emily are so welcoming and generous, I really had a great experience.

My Mom (75) needed a new beautician after hers retired. Research and reviews made us try Salon Coronado. What an amazing experience! Aileen and Emily were welcoming, friendly and upbeat. The salon is beautiful with lots of personality like the owner. So fun to look around and see it all! Aileen treated my Mom with care and listened to what she was looking for...which was Purple hair! Aileen was knowledgeable and gave my Mom exactly what she was looking for in a color and cut for her curly hair. My Mom can't wait to come back! Thank you Aileen (and Emily) ❤️

I’ve been to this salon a bunch of times and always get such amazing service. I specifically go and see Rosanne who is a total gem (I’m sure all the other ladies are wonderful she’s just who i see since I’ve been going there). She works so well with my daughter who gets anxious about getting her hair cut. She always walks her through every step of her haircut grabbing pieces and saying “I’m going to take this much off ok? And if we wanna take more off we can”. She jokes around with her and makes her feel super comfortable. She very personable and sweet and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I’ve also had a blowouts done for my other daughter and I by her and they always come out picture perfect. The salon itself is a super welcoming environment with a lot of character (as each stylist has kind of decorated their own stations to match their personalities instead of having all the stations be “uniform and the same”like in some salons) i definitely recommend this salon and seeing any of the ladies here.
