⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Phenomenal service all around! Chloe is absolutely amazing—her attention to detail, professionalism, and skill made this one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and truly taken care of. Beyond Chloe, the entire salon MINK experience was outstanding. The salon is beautiful, welcoming, and impeccably run, with a warm and friendly atmosphere from start to finish. You can tell this team takes pride in their work and their clients. Highly recommend Chloe and everyone at salon MINK!

I love this salon! They are all so sweet and the vibe is upbeat and fun! Ashley always does an amazing job on my hair. I never leave here disappointed. Today, my haircut and highlight turned out so amazing, exactly what I wanted. I’ve been going here for 5 years and continued coming back even after I moved to Austin because of how great of a job they do. Thank y’all!

Paulette is the best! I always love my haircuts! She's easy to communicate with in terms of what you want for your hair, and she's lovely to hang out with for an hour. Mink is a super cute salon too. Highly recommend!

Should've left this glowing five-star review right after my appointment ended, but I'm righting that wrong now a little after a week later because I've never gotten a better haircut and i would enthusiastically recommend this salon to anyone and everyone! Kayleigh did my cut and she was awesome, great personality and fun to talk to, but most importantly she listened to my concerns from previous bad experiences, my goals for growing out and styling my hair moving forward, and proceeded to execute the vision we'd discussed with expert precision. My hair is curly and wild and difficult to work with, but she made it look easy and I couldn't be happier with the results. The salon itself is also wonderful, warm, bright and welcoming with cute decor and friendly staff (i love the giant crystal in the lobby), and I'd be remiss if i didn't mention the reasonable prices- I've paid a lot more for much less satisfying experiences. TL;DR- if you're looking for a salon in San Marcos you should definitely give salon MINK a try, and ask for Kayleigh!

I went here for a men’s haircut with no appointment as a walk-in just before closing. Unbeknownst to me I was talking to the owner behind the counter and he said he could fit me in and proceeded to do my haircut himself. Through a bit of small talk we hit a topic I was wholly unprepared to discuss and I ended up sharing I had very recently experienced a terrible loss. It was all still so fresh and devastating that I could barely talk about it. As I fought back tears that began to stream down my face he was so kind and comforting. He shared with me that he knew a bit of how I felt. Not the same circumstances but that feeling of loss and grieving we all will experience at one point or another. As I went to leave he closed out my bill before I could swipe my card. I couldn’t help it and I just broke down again. I was having such a terrible day and he had no idea how much that meant to me. He asked if he could give me a hug and I said of course. As he did he gave me some words of encouragement and said he was glad I came in. I went and sat in my car and just cried and cried as I thought about the pain I was feeling but also about how kind this man had just been to me and how grateful I was. As we had talked while he cut my hair, and he did an AMAZING job by the way, we touched on topics surrounding work and us both going to various conferences. As I drove home I thought on the fact that he and I likely didn’t have a whole lot in common as our line of work was very different, but I can tell you that I don’t know that I have met a more wonderful, genuinely kind person in my life. I used to get my hair cut there years ago when I was in college; I don’t live in the area anymore but Salon Mink has always been my go-to when in the area and it’s one of the very best. If you are considering a new spot to get your hair cut this is the place. Not only are they badass at their jobs, it’s not just about cutting hair. They really care about their customers. The City of San Marcos is lucky to have a business owner like that in their community. That day is a memory I will never forget. Thank you Corey.
