I was in a full-blown hair emergency four days before a work trip after my original wig order was delayed due to Lunar New Year shipping issues and ultimately had to be canceled. That left me scrambling with no wig and no time to order another and a business trip to leave for on Monday morning. Luckily, I had a human hair unit I purchased a year ago that had been sitting in a box in the back of my closet — never worn because I didn’t love the color. So now I had hair… just not the hair I wanted. With half the problem solved, I started searching for anyone who could take a last-minute appointment to customize and color a wig. Before finding this salon, I contacted multiple stylists and salons around Houston. Several turned me away because they don’t accept outside hair, others didn’t want to “risk” coloring or bleaching a wig, and one color-focused salon wouldn’t take the appointment at all. After so many roadblocks and rejections, I was stressed and running out of time. When I found **Salons by JC**, everything changed. This was truly a *blind booking*. I had no references, no portfolio, no Instagram deep dive — nothing. I was booking purely off faith and desperation. From the moment I called, the experience was different. I sent photos and videos of the wig along with my inspiration pictures, dropped it off that same Thursday, and she confirmed a two-day turnaround for Saturday. I even offered to pay a rush fee, which she kindly declined. Not only did she accommodate my tight timeline — she finished a day early! The results were flawless. The color and overall finish were exactly what I envisioned. The professionalism, talent, and genuine customer service here are unmatched. If you’ve been looking for a salon that feels like the good old days — warm, welcoming, and truly client-focused — this is your place. They don’t just sell services, they self-serve with care and intention. I walked in as a stressed, last-minute client on a complete whim… and walked out feeling like I found my forever salon home. I drive 30 minutes every time I need to get my hair done by Carissa Sauceda. She's been my hair girl for years and always does such a great job. This salon is so cool because they separate the stylists so it feels more personal. Every time I am here, the building is always clean and tidy. The staff is also alwags polite and friendly. Will continue to return!

This place is everything you need and more!! There are so many professional stylists and barbers here. The environment is top tier and always clean. The stand out for me is the concierge person. Angela. She meets you with a smile and helps you to find the perfect stylist or barber. She is very knowledgeable and has all the answers for any questions you may have. Really love this place and will definitely return!!!

The salon is absolutely beautiful and the owners Monique and Reggie are amazing! They are always so pleasant, professional, prompt, and easy to talk to if you have any concerns. It’s always clean and tidy, thanks to our concierge manager Brea! She greets all the clients cheerfully and makes sure you get to your stylist suite if you’re not sure where to go!
