I love this salon sm, I have had two appointments so far with Bri and she is the best!! I recently moved to Charlotte and have been struggling to find a place, and then my coworkers recommended Shades. Bri is very thorough with explaining the process of everything and was very sweet. She also gave me really great advice on how we should move forward, as one of my biggest things was keeping my hair healthy. And my results couldn’t have been better!! Thank you Bri

Jessica is amazing!! She is so sweet and does an amazing job on my hair every time!! From the moment I sit in her chair I feel so relaxed. I love everything from the color, cut and how she takes the time to wash and condition my hair!! I feel like I’m in a spa, especially when she uses the hot towel on my neck!! She’s incredible!!!

I had an amazing experience today at Shades Salon! Brianna worked her magic, transforming my hair from purple to a beautiful balayage with dark brown and caramel tones. Not only was she incredibly skilled, but she was also friendly and professional, ensuring that the process was done in a healthy way for my hair. Kari, the owner, was also welcoming and offered helpful input, making me feel at ease the entire time. The salon itself has a clean, professional, and friendly atmosphere, and I was greeted as soon as I arrived, even being offered a water. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the overall experience! I will definitely keep coming back as long as they are here. Highly recommend!🥰🥰🥰 Update: Brianna has done an incredible job transforming my hair in 3 sessions—from a vibrant purple to the perfect summer shade! I had a very good experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and directed to take a seat while I wait for my appointment. When I met my hairstylist Amanda, she greeted me with a smile. She made sure throughout the entire appointment that I felt comfortable. I was offered something to drink and a snack. When Amanda washed my hair it felt very relaxing, she massaged my scalp and gave very gentle and clear instructions. When it came time for the haircut, she explained to me everything she was going to do before she did it, we had a conversation through the appointment and it felt more like two friends catching up with each other. The only thing I came in for was a haircut, but I left with a smile, a happy tummy and a very nice haircut. My hair type is thick and straight. Overall my experience in this place was very good.
