We went here for my Daughter’s first ever haircut! She did great and loved the experience of having her hair washed, getting to sit in the Elsa Jeep and getting her hair blow dried while watching Bluey and playing with fidget toys. Zia was awesome and so great with her! We will definitely be back again for her next haircut. We don’t even live nearby but it’s worth the drive for sure.

This was our first time going to Sharkey’s. My daughter definitely wants to go back! My daughter tends to be pretty easy in these situations, but I could tell Emily is considerate. She’s also quick. Emily is also the first hairstylist to pick up on the fact that my daughter has wavy hair. I always thought my kid had straight hair. I did not expect the nail polish application at the end to be complementary. That was a nice touch.

Today we saw Zia for my 3yr olds first hair cut and wash. Zia was amazing! She was so patient and calm throughout. She gave my girl options at every turn, which helped a lot. I loved being able to see her make so many of her own decisions and just enjoy her time. Zia understood my ask for cleaning up and evening out my girls part curly and part straight hair. I can tell my girl was comfortable with Zia, even showing her her toys and answering her questions or giving opinions - when she normally shys away from unfamiliar people. We got to get her nails done as well and our girl LOVED this surprise! The salon was clean and fun with kids in mind at every aspect. My girl was thrilled with everything she could show off from her visit! Zia, I can't thank you enough for making this moment special for her (& me 😁)! We will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing Zia again!
