Sierra was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted and made sure my cut would fit me. I am so happy with this place and will definitely be recommending to others. I felt so welcomed the second I stepped foot in the door. Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had when it comes to getting my hair done. Well worth what I spent. Will definitely be back.

I’m so happy to have found a great salon near my home. Jenn is my stylist and always does a great job cutting my hair. I always enjoy seeing and visiting with her while she cuts away. She understands my hair and what needs to be done. The receptionist, I don’t recall her name, she has short hair—she’s always so bubbly and friendly and it looks like she multitasks very well and she greets the clients in such a friendly way. Thank you !

my experience was perfect. i had not the best day before going in and i wasn’t rlly in the mood to go but as soon as i walked through the front door im so glad i did. right away i was welcomed with warm genuine smiles. i was worried that it would be hard to maintain a conversation when i was actually getting my hair done but sierra made it so i never had that thought again. she made sure my hair wasn’t rushed or anything. she asked all the perfect questions that i didn’t even think about. along with that she asked where my part is instead of just leaving it how it was after my hair was washed or placing it however she felt. i really appreciate the little things and she reminded me why i do. i’m so happy i went and i love my hair. i’ve never seen my hair so perfectly styled with curls. thank you so much sierra!

I would recommend Shear Style Salon in Ankeny Iowa to everyone. I have been going here quite a few years and my stylist has been Anna. She has been the best hair stylist I have ever had. Anna has given me the best haircuts and colored my hair as well. I’ve never let anyone cut my bangs before until Anna. She is easy to talk to and listens to what you want done as well as give you suggestions if you’re not sure. Everyone at the Salon has always been very welcoming as well. Their prices are also very reasonable and the salon is very clean as well. It’s also easy to get appointments around your schedule. Thank you Anna and everyone at Shear Style!
