I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Gina today regarding my super curly hair. What a relief to finally find a stylist who understands how to cut and style curly hair! Even though my hair is growing out post-chemo, she shaped it into a cute little French bob with ringlet curls. Love this salon and this stylist! Highly recommend for her expertise, knowledge of curl hair, and flexibility (she had an opening and was able to cut my hair on the spot after our consultation!). She even took the time to send me some product recommendations to tame the curls! Grateful for my new look and cutesy hair!!

I had such a great experience with Ben and his studio. He was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start — very relaxed, surfer-dude energy — and the salon itself is super cool. I especially appreciated that he fit me in last minute on December 31st, when everyone else was either fully booked or closed. What really stood out, though, was how much Ben genuinely cares about hair health. He took the time to really listen to my hair history, understand what I was hoping to achieve, and then gave me honest, gold-standard professional advice. My hair was quite fragile, and while I couldn’t do everything I initially wanted without damaging it, Ben explained why and helped me find a smart compromise. The result was exactly what I needed: my hair looks and feels very healthy, with beautiful highlights that I absolutely love, and it’s put me on the right path to achieving my long-term look in a healthy way. I’m so happy to have discovered Ben and his studio and will definitely be back.

I went to Shine Salon for my first perm and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Gina was so skilled and helpful with the process, paying special attention to walking me through styling and care tips for the new texture. She was also extremely thorough with making sure I was happy with the style even before the appointment, reaching out once the appointment was booked to see what kind of curls I was wanting. I really appreciated her input and abilities, especially with such a big change going from very straight hair to curly. The salon atmosphere was really nice as well, with lots of snacks and drinks and cute decorations. The stylists all seem to really like and respect each other, and it shows in the warm and welcoming environment in the salon.

I can’t recommend Gina enough. I have struggled with my curly hair my whole life trying to style it. I was heat drying and flat ironing and just creating damage. I decided to embrace my natural curl. Did research and found Gina at Shine Salon. She exceeded my expectations. The salon is clean and cute atmosphere, easy parking. Gina contacted me before the cut and asked for a picture of my current hair and goals. The appointment went well. Gina is very sweet and patient and talented. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the color too. And the curly cut is just perfect. She gave me tips on styling and washing and a month later and I’m still so pleased. Thank you Gina! Hands down recommend if you’re looking for a curly cut.

I had such an amazing experience getting my K-tip extensions here! Farra and Gina are super detailed throughout the whole process — they made sure everything was perfectly placed and blended so naturally. The color match is absolutely perfect, it looks seamless and so natural! They checked in with me constantly to make sure I was comfortable and happy with how things were going. My hair looks and feels incredible — I’m obsessed! Highly recommend if you want beautiful, natural-looking extensions and people who genuinely care about the details.
