I planned this for my wife and I to start our Valentine’s Day weekend. Be a little careful on the one lane road (especially with my wife driving to get up there. Parking is also an adventure. That added stress, at least there would be three hours to calm me. Very nice place, make sure you get there earlier than the appointment. This allows you plenty of time to shower before getting in the hot tub. We were secluded and we didn’t feel like anyone could see us. Keep in mind the trees were bare in February, but I can imagine it in the fal it’s probably amazing. You could tell the difference in the water than a usual hot tub. The salt scrub shower was great, but we had 30 minutes scheduled of that. That extra time there is a sauna. Since we are not able to do the sauna, the shower would have been just as good at 10 minutes. We then had 15 minutes till the next thing. Next we went to the Savanasa Relaxation Room which I didn’t know what that was till I got in there. You lay down on a mat on a bed frame and it’s warm, then you have different heat and massage settings, a weighted blanket, soft music, an eye mask, and ear plugs. It was great for about a half hour. Me sleep at home is never warm, thanks to hot the need to allow for flashes. I have Fred Flinestone toes that done bend, so they were nice enough to come in and get the blanket off my feet. Next was our massage. I don’t get a massage very often but this was the best one I have ever had. I have never fallen asleep during a massage, but my wife says I snored. We were there from 10:30 - 3:00 that is a long time on one Kristy Keene doughnut till I could get something at 3:30. I wouldn’t recommend going on an empty stomach. We both thoroughly enjoy this bit of pampering and it relaxed me so much I didn’t care about my wise’s driving going down afterwards.
