I had three microneedling sessions with exosome serum with three different individuals. Rachel, Kendra then Symone. I was honestly done with skin spirit after my first two sessions. Rachel and Kendra were nice but they didn’t seem to care about my concerns and just did the microneedling and went about their day. Rachel and Kendra never asked me about my goals or concerns and it was all very impersonal. Symone single handedly redeemed the whole crew. Maybe because she is black and so am I so she perhaps she has a better understanding of more melanated skin struggles and could sympathize better. Or maybe she’s just more experienced. I dunno. It just seemed like she cared more and was more willing to discuss my goals and concerns and cared about coming up with a plan to help me achieve those goals. Her technique and bedside manner was also the best in my opinion. Very gentle hands and she explained every step. She even put something on my lips because she saw that they were drying out without me even having to say it was bothering me. What attention to detail! She was awesome. That made all the difference so I plan to return and see if her suggestions will help with my hyper-pigmentation.
