Ashley Young is the BEST! She totally transformed my hair and matched my vision. I loved the ambiance of the space and could tell how passionate all the stylists were. For it being my first time visit, I felt immediately welcomed and confident in Ashley. Will def be making this my forever salon!

this salon is the best I’ve ever been to and is the standard I will hold future salons to if I ever move and can’t come here anymore! but while I live in the KC area, I’ll be loyal to Skyline :) I had Katie dye my hair for the second time and asked her to also cut some bangs for me and face framing layers. I love how it turned out! She was very knowledgeable about my hair type and gave me some recommendations on wash routine that is making my hair look better day to day (my original routine was too heavy for my fine hair so I looked greasy a lot 😅). Katie is also really fun to talk to! also, the ambiance of this place is awesome. I’m normally late to things but show up early here just because I want to hang out in the space! they offer you a drink (coffee, wine, beer, seltzers, maybe more but those are my favorites), and the washing room / glazing room is separate so they have a big movie screen in there and always play interesting stuff. also the music they play is always great too, the first time I went I felt like they had taken it straight from my Spotify, the second time they played more rock but it was all familiar bangers! and their bathrooms are cool too, one is an Elvis design and the other is like 80’s/90’s magazine themed maybe?

She truly listens to what you’re hoping for and takes the time to talk through ideas before starting, so the final result always matches the vision. Her knowledge of color is especially impressive — she explains the process clearly and makes everything feel seamless and low-stress. I love that she’s open to experimenting and creative changes while still keeping the health of my hair a priority. On top of her skill, she’s just a joy to be around. Appointments are always comfortable and fun, and you never feel rushed. Highly recommend her if you want someone talented, trustworthy, and easy to talk to! The salon itself is beautiful too — tons of natural light, a relaxing but upbeat atmosphere, and overall just a really great space to spend a few hours.
