I had the pleasure of getting my hair done 1 week ago by Melvis & Anita. My best friend & I traveled from Huntington WV. We called the shop at 1pm asking if we could and they said yes! From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcomed & comfortable the entire time. I got small knotless boho braids hip length. They were fast, neat and talked to me the whole time. For my first time having these braids, I was amazed. I love them so much & have received tons of compliments. I will definitely be back. 100/10 I definitely recommend!

My first time at Smart Braids. I had a good experience. The owner was nice and welcoming. The young lady that braided my hair I give her 8 stars. She was very kind I didn't get her name but she gave me a 1/2 lemonade Braids and 1/2 knotless it looks so detailed. It's so cute! I love it❤️It's not too tight anywhere. I will be returning.

My time at smart braids is an amazing experience getting my hair braided! The stylist Megan and Auja were professional, gentle, fast and incredibly skilled. The parts were clean, the braids were neat and consistent, and the entire style looked flawless.

I decided to get box braids and I was not disappointed. Beautiful experience. Beautiful tradition of African culture. There was a young family, a barber, a little boy there, and lots of women, lots of talking, laughing and my stylist sang African songs I had never heard. I recommend this for every girl and women to experience, no matter your age. I’m so serious when I say it felt amazing on my scalp. I tried this on a whim and I love the results. Perfect place to go if you want to practice French. At one point, I had the attention of three woman working on my hair. Pulling it gently in all directions. I felt cared for. Just choose your hair color and they braid it in. I have not had to brush my flat hair or wash it since. Great for mom and daughter to do together in my opinion. Take a day and just try it!
