About SMARTSTYLE
SMARTSTYLE looks at Morehead City’s beauty needs and provides convenient solutions. They’ve carved out a niche, especially among teens needing a quick style refresh or someone looking for dependable Hair salon services in Morehead City. Many come for services like a simple trim to more involved color corrections, especially after summer sun fades those beachy highlights.
Visiting SMARTSTYLE is usually pretty straightforward. From the moment someone walks in, there's a familiar, casual vibe. Clients can generally expect a short wait, leafing through magazines, before being whisked away to a styling chair. The stylists listen well, offering advice without being pushy, and there’s an ease to the whole process that keeps patrons coming back. Even the shampoo feels a bit more luxurious here than at some other places, a small detail regulars appreciate during the colder months.
What sets SMARTSTYLE apart is their accessibility and consistent service. They manage to maintain quality even with a high volume of clients, and their color correction expertise is a real draw. While many places offer basic cuts and color, SMARTSTYLE seems to genuinely understand the nuances of blonde shades and how to achieve the perfect beachy balayage that the locals love. It also helps that they're open seven days a week, fitting into even the busiest schedules.
With consistently high ratings and a loyal clientele, SMARTSTYLE has become a reliable fixture in the community. Customers often mention the skill of particular stylists by name in reviews. Plus, they're pretty good about sending out reminders for follow-up appointments, which is a nice touch and shows they value repeat business, right down to checking in on how their color is holding up after a few weeks. That kind of care ensures that SMARTSTYLE will likely be around serving Morehead City for a long time.

Frequently Asked Questions About SMARTSTYLE
How do I book an appointment at SMARTSTYLE in Morehead City?
- Booking an appointment is usually quite easy. While they might accept walk-ins depending on availability, calling ahead is always best to secure a spot, especially with your preferred stylist. Their number can be found easily online, and the team is often quick to confirm your appointment, usually within the same day.
Do you offer bridal or special event styling?
- SMARTSTYLE does offer styling services for special events, including bridal styles. Given the complexity and time required for such styling, booking well in advance is highly recommended. It's best to call and discuss your needs to ensure they can accommodate your vision.
Can I see photos of your work before booking?
- While they may not have a formal portfolio readily available, asking to see examples of a stylist's work is perfectly acceptable. Many stylists keep a collection of photos on their phones to showcase their expertise, particularly with color and styling techniques. You might also find inspiration by checking online reviews, as past clients often share photos of their new 'dos!

I had the sweetest lady ( I believe her name was Francis) today. My hair was to my waist with severely dead ends and no volume or bounce. She literally transformed my hair and I am very grateful. I added before and after pics

A very kind gentleman, hairstylist named Terri Washed, cut and styled my hair. He did a fantastic job! I plan on recommending him to my friends. He was so kind and nice to talk to you and cared so much about my hair. In my 71 years of life I have Never had such a great hairstylist. He deserves a large bonus in my opinion! I plan on going back to him and sending more clients his way. Thank you so much, Terri!

Cindy was amazing! My regular stylist went MIA and I was in desperate need of a haircut. Cindy was able to schedule a same day appointment and she did a very nice job. I plan to return for color and highlights.
