Tara is such a good hairstylist. She is attentive, kind and a real down to earth person. She isnt pushy and really listens to what you want. She has done my hair a couple times and honestly I wont let anyone else there touch my hair. She is worth the visit to this salon and anyone who compliments my hair I send them directly to her. Good on ya for having her in your salon. Make sure she stays happy and she is taken care of. I waited an hour today for her because she had three people ahead of me and three people behind me with another hairdresser in the salon. She is a gem!

I had a great experience this morning . I had no trouble getting my hair cut without an appointment this morning . The stylist was friendly and very nice . My hair came out great even after having had my hair professionally cut for at least three years.

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. As someone who has been coloring (bleaching) my hair since high school (over 20 years ago), I’ve truly been through it all — box dye, high-end NYC salons, and eventually attempting to bleach and color it myself… which did not end well. By the time I first went to the salon and saw Esperanza, I needed a major color correction and a serious cut. My hair was fried, and my once-luscious curls were dry and barely there. I was very over the idea of spending hundreds of dollars at other places, only to feel somewhat satisfied and then need another appointment just weeks later. From the very first visit, Esperanza completely transformed my hair. The color correction and cut she did were incredible — I genuinely couldn’t believe the difference. A few months later, I went back for a retouch and another cut because I felt so confident in the look she created. Not only does my hair look better than it has in years, but I’m also able to go much longer between color appointments than ever before. My hair feels soft, healthy, and styled — I can hardly go anywhere without someone complimenting it. I have a wedding coming up in June, and I am beyond excited for Esperanza to do my hair. I would trust her completely — even blindfolded. On top of that, the entire salon experience is wonderful. The other stylists are warm and welcoming, and the owner was there both times I visited — she was incredibly accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. The prices are very reasonable, they truly take their time, and they make sure you feel your absolute best when you walk out the door. I live in the Bronx, and I can confidently say the trip is more than worth it.
