So glad I found this gem in south zanesville! I will say I was skeptical at first, because it’s inside a Walmart. I assumed it was the equivalent of a Great Clips—a salon for fresh graduates to get their feet wet—oh how wrong I was! I can’t speak for everyone at this salon, as I’ve only had Allie to do my hair, but if the other stylists are half as detailed, excellent listeners, and skilled in their techniques like her, you’re in great hands! I booked online, only needing a bang trim because it had been way too long. I was desperate for anyone to cut my bangs and couldn’t put it off any longer. I hadn’t found a stylist I trusted since being back in my home state. Funny enough, I loved how the bangs turned out, so much that I asked her to cut the rest of my hair on the spot while I was there. She had time to do a full wash, cut, and style and I was thoroughly impressed. This cut turned out to be my favorite look yet! It feels the most like “me” I’ve felt in years. My first impression of the salon was it’s very clean and comfortable. Someone happily greets you when you walk in. When I met Allie, we hit it off instantly. She’s so kind, funny, and just a likable human being in general. It also helped that she had the exact haircut/style I wanted! She’s young, but don’t let that deter you. She’s very skilled and stays on top of new techniques and trends. She teaches herself how to do the current styles, so she’s constantly learning and honing her craft—a quality of a stylist I value highly. She’s not set in her ways and unwilling to try new things or let the client suggest things to try. She was patient in hearing my preferences and goals for my haircut and she didn’t cut more than what we discussed and agreed upon. I thought I wanted to go a little shorter on my top layers, but she encouraged me to sleep on it before making that decision, because I was hesitant to go that short initially. She said “I can take more off, but I can’t put it back on.” I really appreciated her willingness to do what was best for me rather than what I asked. I’m not a hair stylist, I don’t know what I don’t know. I only know what I THINK I like, not how it will look on me vs the instagram photos I see of the cut on someone else. This is another quality I highly value in a stylist—someone who is realistic and wise enough to tell me when something might not work on me. The customer is not ALWAYS right. 😉 Allie, you’ve quickly outshone many stylists I’ve had over the years and I truly hope you don’t plan to leave the state any time soon. But if you do, I will be one of those clients who travel to have you do my hair. 😅 From someone who has lived in California for many years and has had many stylists out there, Allie rivals many of them. If you can’t tell, I’m a very particular person and when I find someone I trust with my hair, I’m a lifer. I’m so grateful to have you as my stylist. You’ve improved my confidence so much since giving me the right kind of cut for my fine, wavy-curly hair. Thank you girl! You’re a godsend. Truly. Oh and she also did my mom’s haircut, which my mom loves. Allie is very skilled with wavy/curly hair—a quality hard to come by! Here’s a photo of us after our “girls day” getting our hair done together. Mine was just a bang trim and we did end up shortening my top layers so I could get more volume in my shag. 😝 I’m still glad I waited to have it cut shorter, because I knew that was the right decision to make on the second appointment with her. Loved my appointment with Alexis, so sweet and personable. Truly felt like I made a friend by the end of the appointment—the wonderful job she did was just a bonus. Walked out with exactly what I asked for, I couldn’t be happier. And I could not recommend her enough!!🤩

Tina is a wonderful person and always does a great job in my hair very gentle when she's doing cutting and coming it out she's my number one and only hairs styes ✂️✂️✂️✂️

Gotta say absolutely love getting my hair cut here. I almost always have Tina cut my hair. She's always so great at it. She even fixed it when I went somewhere cheaper once and they cut it so uneven. I haven't went anywhere since. Lesson Leaned I'll stick with these guys!!!
