Gwendolyn always takes her time to assess what my hair needs to be at its best. Each time I sit in her chair, I feel excited to talk about my hair and how she is going to style it. Gwendolyn is easy to talk to and does great work. I have seen her for many cuts, and some color work. I also love my time in the Smoke + Mirrors space. Each person is kind and caring in their approach to the role. It is also very comfortable and cool.

I have never loved my hair more than after Sunshine cut, dyed, and styled it. She is the absolute best at what she does. I will never be going anywhere else or letting anyone else touch my hair other than her lol. 10/10 experience and everyone in the salon was so nice and amazing☺️

Can’t say enough good things about this beautiful salon! Anyone looking for hair extensions and exceptional blonde color service in Baltimore needs to see Sunshine Cobak. Initially, I found her on Instagram and was super impressed by her work ( @sunshinecobakhair). I’ve had extensions and color done previously but was never fully satisfied with the result until now! The extensions are beautiful and comfortable- I can barely feel them. The color she gave me is exceptional and exactly the shade I requested based on photos I showed her. She fully delivered and I’m ecstatic with my new hair. The whole salon is also lovely and such a great vibe and good energy. If you’ve been considering extensions or a color change, talk to this beautiful girl and she will give you the transformation you’ve been wanting.

She took the time to clearly explain every step of what she was doing throughout the entire appointment, which made me feel confident and comfortable the whole time. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and passion truly showed in her work. My hair turned out beyond amazing, exactly what I wanted, if not better. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional results and an incredible experience. The receptionist was also extremely nice and the refreshments were amazing
