About Sola Salon Studios
Serving Evansville’s discerning clients, Sola Salon Studios provides a flexible studio environment where independent stylists craft personalized hair experiences. While many salons operate under a single management style, this establishment empowers individual artists to tailor their approach, focusing heavily on modern coloring techniques like balayage and ombre. The space functions not just as a service point, but as a collaborative hub where expertise in extensions and hair restoration is readily available to those seeking specific aesthetic solutions.
Visiting involves a process designed for comfort and accessibility, accommodating wheelchair users with dedicated parking and restroom facilities. The atmosphere supports a relaxed flow, allowing appointments to proceed without the pressure of a rigid, shared floor schedule. Because appointments are recommended, the journey from booking to completion tends to feel unhurried, with each client receiving focused attention during their session.
What distinguishes this top-rated Hair salon in Evansville is its commitment to inclusivity, serving as a verified transgender safe space and LGBTQ+ friendly environment. Not only do they offer standard cuts, but the presence of multiple independent practitioners means a wider variety of technical skills is accessible under one roof. This model ensures that clients can find a stylist whose aesthetic aligns perfectly with their vision, rather than being limited by a single house style.
With a consistent 4.7-star rating from over 120 reviews, the business has established a reliable track record for service quality. Clients often return for the consistency of results and the welcoming nature of the studio’s culture. The longevity of these relationships suggests that the personalized, one-on-one model resonates with those who value distinct artistic input over generic salon protocols.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sola Salon Studios
Does Sola Salon Studios serve the Evansville area for bridal hair?
- Many of the independent stylists within the studio offer bridal services, though availability varies by individual artist. It is best to inquire directly with specific stylists regarding their current capacity for wedding parties. Confirmation of dates and styling trials should be handled during the initial consultation to ensure alignment with your event timeline.
Can I see photos of your work before booking?
- Each independent stylist typically maintains their own portfolio of recent work, which can often be viewed through their personal social media profiles or the studio’s main directory. Asking to see a stylist’s specific experience with techniques like balayage or color correction is encouraged. This ensures that the chosen artist’s aesthetic matches your desired outcome before the appointment begins.
How do I maintain my color between appointments?
- Stylists usually recommend using sulfate-free shampoos and cool water rinses to preserve pigment integrity and prevent fading. Specific maintenance routines may vary depending on the type of coloring service received, such as balayage versus full highlights. Following the aftercare instructions provided by your individual stylist will yield the best longevity for your color investment.

I loved going to see Emily here. The salon was neat and clean - they were respectful, posted information during Covid reopening was updated and not confusing, and the salon itself was very clean. I loved Emily and her work with my hair. Highly recommend 😁

Valerie does my hair. Love her. There are several people in here. Each stylist has their own cubby with a door. I think I saw people who do brows and nails. Some do walk-ins. It's clean.
