If you are on the fence about your tattoo, or need some creative guidance on your tattoo, please see Noah at Solid Tattoo. I’m a tattoo newbie, (have small crosses on my wrist that I got from a lackluster Austin tattoo shop experience) and have been wanting a large forearm wrap for quite some time. I’ve had a wide range of random ideas and had no idea how I would arrange or make all my ideas flow together. I turned to AI apps to try and generate some inspiration, but still struggled to find a clear vision for my first big tattoo. A friend suggested I talk to Noah at Solid Tattoo and have him set me up for a consultation. Once I spoke with Noah on the phone and visited with him for the consult, I knew he was my guy and I never spoke to another shop or artist. Noah was very direct and to the point, he was very clear on pricing and his vision for how the tattoo could come together. His shop was the cleanest I have ever stepped foot in, and he clearly takes pride in the organization and tidiness of his work area and studio. He took my random assortment of tattoo ideas and helped them flow together into one cohesive forearm wrap. He was able to complete the tattoo over the course of two 6ish hour days back to back. He was very focused on his work during those two days, taking minimal breaks and ensuring that he did not drag the appointment times out longer than necessary. He was very clear about his tattoo care instructions there were no healing complications with the tattoo, and I was absolutely thrilled with how the tattoo came out. If you want a very talented artist to work on you, who won’t fluff you up with nonsense or be evasive about exact pricing, then you need to see Noah, his prices are very fair (probably way too low considering his level of talent), he won’t bs you and he will do his best to ensure your tattoo comes out looking great and that he is happy with his work and you are happy with the final product.

Overall experience at Solid Tattoo was fantastic! I only got two ear piercings (this time) and it was great. Melissa is thoughtful, skilled, and knowledgeable. I have sensitive skin and previous piercing-fails, so finding someone who is well-experienced with sensitive skin was a must. Melissa is the perfect find! She helped me pick out new jewelry replacements, cleaned my other piercings, and gave me expert advice on the placement of the two new ones. She spent extra time to make sure all of my needs were met. The shop is super clean, prices make sense, and creativity abounds. I'll definitely be back and recommend her! Also, she's got a lot of experience with ear piercings for kids, too, for anyone looking.

From the initial consultation to the final result, the entire process was smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. “I came in with a basic idea for 15 year old cover up and Noah was incredible at bringing it to life. They were patient with my questions, offered creative ideas, and created a custom design that was even better than I had imagined." Noah and Melissa are hands down the most down to earth people. I sent my son here because I had heard so many amazing stories about this place. My son has gone to multiple shops and has had an abundance of different experiences. (Some that makes a mama shudder) 🤣 This shops reputation didn’t disappoint and I believe my son has found his new favorite spot now. Noah’s talent and attention to detail is like no other. Shop was spotlessly clean, environment was welcoming and relaxing, and I foresee many more visits here in the near future. Smooth experience from the moment we messaged them all the way up to the time he paid. Easy to set an appointment, flexible time frames, and their integrity is something you likely won’t find in another shop! Thankful we found this place!
