The owner and staff are very accommodating; they always try to work around my schedule or unexpected situations that change my availability for appointments, and they've been like this since day one... While other places would say no or close their availability, they always do everything they can to take care of me. During my first appointment, I asked for a regular manicure and pedicure because my nails were very weak and brittle, and due to my job, gel polish wouldn't last even a week. But Maira offered me the rubber base coat. I was skeptical, but she insisted I look it up on Google, so I did. I trusted her, and my nails were able to grow and stay strong until my next appointment, and it's been that way ever since, appointment after appointment. My problem wasn't that my nails wouldn't grow, but that they wouldn't stay strong. Before Maira and this salon, no one had ever offered me this service. At other salons, they would just give me bad looks because I wasn't asking for a more expensive nail service, like acrylics or something similar, but those aren't my style. Here, however, they've treated me well regardless of the service I request. Everyone there has done a great job when took care of me, and I've been very comfortable with Betty's work. I want to highlight that she is professional and focused on her work while she's doing my nails. Our conversations and interactions are respectful and not intrusive on a personal level. She is accommodating regarding my requests and doesn't get annoyed if I fall asleep (this happens to me in many places, when I'm getting my hair done and even during treatments involving needles, due to health issues and work-related fatigue). I've had bad experiences where people have spoken to me rudely or raised their voices, and have even roughly pulled my feet or hands because I fell asleep; but Betty hasn't been bothered by this or anything else, she is so kind and caring. When you request a beauty or health service, or even when you go to a restaurant, you want to be well-attended, with respect. It's a moment of renewal, a gift from yourself to yourself, for your well-being and self-esteem... That's why I like to enjoy it my way: I listen to my music, I eat what I like, I get a massage, I choose what I want, and all I want is to be relaxed, in calm during the hours the service lasts. It's like a personal care ritual, not a time to be stressed by the lack of patience, professionalism, and courtesy of the person who is supposed to be taking care of you. For these reasons and more, I've been going to Sonia's Nails since day one and haven't gone anywhere else for my manicures and pedicures 💅.

I was there today and for the first time I did Soft gel at this amazing nail place! The girl that did my nails her name is Lorena Not only does she pay attention to detail but she is also amazing. Fast, detailed oriented and one amazing human being.

I had a GREAT experience. I booked a spa pedicure for my sister in law, husband, and I and it was amazing. I live in Bronx,NY but traveled there and was amazed by the treatment we were given. I love my encapsulated acrylic set and my sister in law nails were so perfect they ask if she mind them taking a picture of her tapered square nails. I highly recommend them.

Yuli has been doing my nails for over 5 years and I am always satisfied with the service. Yuli is very friendly and always makes me laugh. She always knows what I want with my nails and is a total expert. Mayra always does an awesome job with my pedicure and I am always satisfied. Mayra takes her time and does an awesome massage when doing my pedicure. Thank you ladies I will not trade you for anything!! I always get compliments on my nails and pedicure ☺️💖🌸
