Sophia Hair Salon

My regular barber had a long wait so I decided to just walk into this place without reading reviews. My barber charges me $30 and even though my cut is pretty simple, he spends about 30 minutes on me. I showed her a photo of how I like my hair cut, say in the chair, and it seemed like I blinked an eye and she was done. Very nice lady but I was laughing because I couldn’t believe how fast it was over. I mean, it wasn’t bad. It’s an inexpensive cut but this may be I would rather spend more for a barbershop experience.

I highly recommend her salon, if you’re on a time crunch! She’s fast and good! And you don’t have to wait long and the price you can’t beat !!

Sophia is the only place I take my man to get his hair cuts! Best price & great location - never too busy & always does a great job!

My wife noticed this business a few weeks ago when we were at Walmart here in San Marcos. She saw the big sign in the window advertising $10 haircuts. This was a big deal for her since everywhere we go, no matter to whom, they all want $20 and up to even just trim hair and their work isn't that good usually and they take forever. Not so with Sophia. We actually stopped by this past Sunday just before 12 and there was one person in the chair and one waiting. When we walked in, we asked what the wait time was and was told SEVEN MINUTES. It wasn't even really that long. Between the guy in the chair and the lady waiting, it didn't take 15 minutes for both. That is the kind of wait time that we like. When my wife sat down, she told Sophia that she wanted about 1.5 inches of hair taken off all the way around. Sophia asked if she could use clippers on the back and my wife said sure. She wasn't in that chair 10 minutes and was done. Hair cut looked good, and she was pleased. $10! And Sophia is super nice. Very quiet and very respectful. She keeps an orderly shop and you couldn't ask for more. This is definitely our "go to" place while we are here in San Marcos. Too bad we can't take Sophia with us when we leave!!!! Keep up the fine work Sophia, you are very much appreciated. Too bad I can't give you TEN STARS!!!
