UPDATE: After posting my review, the spa commented and asked if I would like to share my experience and to contact them. I called and spoke with Armani and she set up a complimentary return visit for me where I would receive another massage and manicure/pedicure. This experience was amazing. It’s exactly the type of experience I had hoped for the first go around. My massage was absolutely phenomenal and Cory was amazing. She was so nice and did a great job making me feel relaxed and relieving the tension that I had built up in my shoulders and upper back. Before my massage, I was informed that Armani had scheduled me a complimentary facial as well, which I was not expecting at all. That was a complete surprise. The facial was after my massage with esthetician Colette. She was the original esthetician I had and was as lovely this go around as the last. She was so sweet and the facial was relaxing and wonderful. My skin looked so glowy after and felt soft and moisturized. It was incredibly relaxing and such a wonderful experience. My manicure and pedicure with Maireibys were also fantastic. She is very kind and sweet and did such a nice job on my nails. It was relaxing and the end result was such a drastic difference from the first time. I was so very happy with this visit. Even Hailey at the front desk was a doll and walked me to the front of the hotel because the construction they were doing had blocked off many of the exits. I am grateful I had the opportunity to come back and give them another try because this experience was what I wished it had been the first time. I hope everyone has this kind of experience when they go. One thing remains true, the people that work here are all so so so nice. That’s a huge thing they have going for them. I’m so thankful that Armani set this up for me and allowed me this opportunity to have the experience I deserved. ********************************************* Original Review: I’d like to start this review by saying that my husband saved up for 6 months to gift this experience to me. We come from modest means and this was a special experience that is not something I would ever do for myself. That said, I wasn’t completely happy with my experience. The GOOD: my facial was lovely and the esthetician I had was also lovely. My massage was pretty good as well, though it got cut short (more on that later.) The staff were all super friendly. The BAD: The day before my treatments, the front desk called and said there was a change to my schedule. This pushed my first treatment back an hour. Originally, my husband scheduled it the way he did so I could have a break to treat myself to a delicious lunch on the roof. Unfortunately, this change only allowed me 45 min for lunch, and the food took 30 min to get. So I ended up scarfing my food to make my next appointment, which was a 1245 mani/pedi. I sat on the bench outside of the salon for 20 min before they brought me in because they were running behind. This was after the manager saw me sitting there and asked the manicurist what was going on. If I would have been late, they would have decreased my treatment time, but they kept me waiting for 20. This cut into my next treatment, which was my massage. It was supposed to be 50 minutes but only ended up being 40 because of the fact that I arrived late. In addition to that, my manicure was not very good. The manicurist was very very sweet, and I enjoyed talking with her, but at one point she said, “I’m going to rush through this” because she knew I had my massage. Well, that showed in the fact that my cuticles were barely touched and do not look good. My feet also aren’t great. Again, she was lovely, but I wish I would have skipped the mani/pedi because I don’t feel like it was worth the cost that my husband paid, and I didn’t enjoy it because I was so stressed about them being late and me being late for the appointment I was looking forward to the most. Overall, I wish I had had a better experience for the price.

My daughter and I had such great time today at the spa at Don Cesar! We had pedicures and it was luxurious. From the time we checked in with Lindsey and Katie to the time we left after having great service from Victoria and Amy - we couldn’t be more happy! Thank you so much for such a great experience! We are locals and we decided to treat ourselves and we were not disappointed. I am celebrating a 30th wedding anniversary, and Lindsay surprised us with a couple glasses of rosé. Also, we were able to utilize the property after the spa services, including covering our valet fees. We will be back :-) TY!!

If you haven’t been here yet, don’t wait! Make sure you spend the full day at The Don to get the full experience. They were able to tailor a special birthday package with custom facial, deep tissue massage and bath. The services were incredible with a beautiful ocean view. You have access to the roof top for the full day of your service, showers, steam room, their private beach with chairs and spa. I was given a complimentary glass of champagne for my birthday which was a nice touch. I also loved that they validated parking for the full day. I order lunch and drinks directly on the beach. The only thing I would suggest is to move the Whisper Lounge area as it’s right in front of the elevators and was noisy when people and spa staff were coming in and out. Did not feel private and wasn’t relaxing for me in that area.

We had a couples massage and we both thought it was fantastic!! We have different styles. He had Swedish with Cory (sorry about spelling) and said it was possibly best massage ever. I had more of a therapeutic massage-deep tissue with Carleen. Maybe was my best ever as well. We highly recommend!!!
