Customer Reviews for Spark Nails & Spa

Gabriella Lewis — 5/5 (via Google)

First time having my nails done here and fourth time overall. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. The dip was not bulky on my natural mail and the French look I was going for was achieved perfectly! My nail tech V was also personable with me and my coworker who referred me to this nail salon. I cannot wait to see my nails in my maternity photos.

Olivia Leary — 5/5 (via Google)

I chose this salon based on other positive reviews and I am happy I did! Vincent did my dip manicure and was so meticulous. Another salon had done my nails previously and he took one look and asked me who did them (they weren’t good). I told him the name of the salon where I had gone- as it turns out, he knows the owner and immediately called her to let her know about the bad job their tech had done. He told me he cares very much about doing a great job and “does nails with love.” It was clear he in fact loves what he does! He was not the fastest tech, but the job he did was as excellent. He really made sure my nails were perfect. I found my new nail salon!

Loved my first visit here with my daughter! Both techs were amazing and we are very happy with the results. Le was wonderful with my young one, giving and taking banter like a champ :). We will certainly be returning to Spark for our future nail days!! I also asked them to pick a color for me and it is spot on.. looks great! Note: my photo quality is bad/ my nails are perfect!

Updating from the one star review I left yesterday. I was immediately called after leaving the review and asked to come back in so they can fix. I’m upset that they would even let me walk out of there with that kind of manicure. I was not going to stand there and argue with them but I also should have been heard when I said I did not like the design and even showed the owner (or who I believe to be the owner/manager) what I was walking out with. I was not able to go back the same day as I had already been there for 2 and a half hours. I went back in today to see Elly and she fixed everything. Between the shape, the top coat, and the design, she did well. I will give them another chance only because Elly clearly knows what she is doing with dip powder and design. Again, the first manicure I received was very poor quality and I’m shocked that that was not addressed at all. She did a horrible manicure with an ugly design and burned/cut me with the nail file. That’s the only reason I cannot leave a full five star review. I will update again once I go back in to see Elly. First review from 12/18/21… Really disappointed for the second and last time. The last picture is what I wanted. I called ahead to make sure they had someone available to do dip powder with design. He promised me they did. Not only did she cut/burn me with the nail file, it was a poor quality dip powder manicure. She rushed through the design after she did my pinky and ring finger. I got there around 12 and then left at 2:20. For how long I was there I expected better quality. It was $75 and I still gave her a $10 tip. I wanted to argue the price but I realize that is the cost when you get design. I would not have made a big deal about price if the design was better quality. After leaving I immediately called to make an appointment with another salon to get this fixed but since it’s the holidays I can’t get in anywhere until next week. All in all I will not be back as they do not put out quality work consistently.
