Shundrika was very pleasant and provided me something no other hairstylist has. Her own opinion of what would look best for me. I'm not a big hair guy, so I repeatedly asked the stylists to use their own judgement and only the most basic parameters from my own preference. All previous stylists were polite and did their jobs quite well, but did not really engage their opinion in contrast to my own comments. Shundrika made suggestions and asked questions but is the only one who offered any input whatsoever that went against the grain of my own responses. It turned out a little differently than anything I would ever have specifically requested, which is waht I wanted. Sometimes, when you're not personally well informed on style choices, it is preferable to have someone who specializes (both as professional and general target audience) to put your faith in. I don't get a lot of haircuts, b/c it is an expense that my lifestyle allows me to defer, but I will definitely be going back to Shundrika (Assuming I can keep track of her business card until the next time I decide to get a professional haircut). This confidence in and willingness to share her own opinion is a big part of what makes specialized talent real talent (of course you also have to be good at your specialty, but she's got that covered, in my estimation).
