I loved my first experience with Sport Nails. All the employees were super nice. I made an appointment and they got me in a chair the second I walked in the door. I got gel polish on hands and feet. Two different ladies did my appointment. I didn't catch the ladies name that did my feet but she did well and was pretty fast. Then came my fingernails and Sonya did them. She was super friendly and she took her time. She did three coats. She didn't like the way one nail looked so she went back and fixed it before she finished up and let me go. I appreciated that. I got my nails done at 5:00 on a Monday and the photo is from the following Thursday. Keep in mind, this is over the holiday so I hadn't put my nails to "work" yet. This is just from washing my hands. There are a few nails that have chipped up close to my cuticle. I'm not sure why or what could cause this however I am considering making an appointment to have them fixed since it's only been two days in-between and they already have chips. I'm sure this is nothing to do with the job done by my nail tech since she was so maticulous about fixing the one she wasn't happy with before I left. I am sure they will have no problems being willing to help me out with these three problem nails. I will come back and do a second review after my repair appointment. Also, I wanted to add that it was pre-christmas Eve and they were absolutely slammed. Every nail tech was with a client. When I went to pay and head out I was given a gift from my nail techs! That definitely made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. No nail salon has EVER treated me like this and it was my FIRST time using this salon. I believe this will be my go to nail salon solely because of the loving atmosphere they provided to me and my mother for her birthday. (My mom was a walk-in and didn't have an appointment but they worked her right in and she was finished before me! She got a powder dip manicure) Thank you Sport Nails for your empecible service! UPDATE: They did fix my three nails. They did not charge me for them. However, Sonya had to do a pedicure so she was not able to fix the nails she did. I was fine with that. THEN when Hannah came to fix them, she used a different technique than Sonya did on the rest of my nails. Sonya only used Gel polish. She did 3 layers of gel color polish. When Hannah did the fix she took the 3 nails completely off and did a gel powder dip and then she did 1 layer of the gel color polish. The nails that Sonya did with just polish seem to be holding up really well and it has been 10 days since I got them painted and 8 days since the fix.

I was VERY impressed with Sport Nails in Statesville. Not only is it 7 minutes from where I live so it’s extremely convenient; the employees here are so nice. I did not have a prior appointment but got in when I requested that same day (30 minutes actually!) and Joe did an absolutely amazing job on my nails. He did not rush and every nail is smooth and symmetrical! I’ve had some not so great experiences where I moved here from so I’m beyond pleased with Sport Nails! Definitely will be going back to Joe!

Two weeks ago I visited sport nails. After getting my nails done at another salon for the the last couple months to only have them break and chip usually after only a week my friend suggested I give her nails girl a try. Both of us do the same job and her nails never split,cracked or break so I decided I would give them a try.
