Star City Tattoos

Whole sleeve done by Roger. All pieces finished in one session (about 4 hours) except for the girl which did take two sessions, (obviously that one takes up my whole upper arm.) That includes the outline, shading, and color. People ask me all the time where I got my ink. It's annoying. If you don't want people coming up asking you about your tattoos, don't go here. Roger is a master at his craft. The guy knows what he's doing. He WILL give you a great tattoo if you let him. Also, If you're lucky he'll even let you keep the drawings of your tattoos.

Roger is the best of the best! He's done three tattoos for me over the last few years, most recently this coverup/reworked owl. I couldn't be happier about my tattoos and can't recommend Roger highly enough! And, despite the high quality of his work, you don't have to wait very long to book with him and his prices are very reasonable. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I met Roger in 2021 after finding a drawing of a tractor on his instagram. I looked through all of his posted work, figured with his skill level it would take awhile to get in to meet with him and even longer to get tatted. Roger responded pretty quickly to my email and loved the idea of a tractor memorial piece, we met for him to discuss details and stuff and he made an appt for less than a month later. Since 2021 Roger has done 2 other memorials and I can say they have just gotten better. Roger is a true artist, you leave knowing there’s going to be no other tattoo like yours. I have tattoos from various artists in various states but none have compared to Roger’s abilities. Not only is he an amazing artist but he makes you feel comfortable. From the second you walk in the shop until you walk out he wants to make sure you’re happy with the entire experience. I have 2 large pieces that he was able to do linework and color all in one day in much less time than I have experienced in the past. Looking at his work, you’d think he would have books out for a year but he doesn’t want you to wait forever on a tattoo either. If you want an artist who hears everything you say about what you want and loves it just as much as you, Roger is your man. Roger asked for pictures of my tractor, asked questions about my pawpaw, and created a one of a kind tattoo. He even added the tree line from his home place to it. If you want custom, clean, beautiful art Roger is your man. Most recently he took a picture of an old beat up license plate and turned it into a great tribute to my daddy, anyone who knew him knew the plate and now I carry it around with me everyday.

Roger is an incredible artist and I absolutely recommend him. His studio is extremely clean and the great playlists make it the perfect environment. If you’re wanting a tattoo go see him, you won’t be disappointed!
