I had the best experience at Storytellers Tattoo! From the moment I walked in I absolutely loved the vibe there. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. This was my eighth tattoo and every other time it’s felt more transactional – Storytellers actually creates a beautiful experience. Joseph and Michele were so welcoming and excited about the process, even though they’ve done and seen a million tattoos! Working with Joseph is watching an artist in action – his attention to detail and passion for what he does is beautiful to witness. I got two tattoos in one day and both turned out even better than I had hoped. I can’t wait to go back for my next tattoo!

Joseph is the real deal. From the first consult to the final wipe-down, the whole experience was warm, easygoing, and professional. I brought him an idea with a few reference images, and he absolutely nailed the design—took my vision and elevated it with his own talent and imagination. I can’t say enough great things about this shop! The husband-and-wife duo running it are awesome - Joseph is an incredible artist, and his wife manages the shop with such warmth and professionalism. They’re both super easy to talk to and have great energy that makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. The new shop itself is beautiful - fresh, open, and airy - with a really welcoming vibe. Every tattoo session I’ve had here has been awesome, and Joseph’s work always exceeds my expectations. I first went to Joseph right after I turned 18 and received a beautiful piece that I’ve loved ever since. Now, just about eight years later, I’m back working on another tattoo with him at his new location, and it’s just as incredible of an experience. The new shop is absolutely stunning, but not in a flashy way. His wife, Michelle, decorated it to feel more like a cozy library than a traditional tattoo studio. There are books everywhere, beautiful plants, warm details all around, and it has such a homey, welcoming energy. You immediately feel comfortable when you walk in. The vibes are always immaculate, and everyone there is genuinely kind and down to earth - never any weird or uncomfortable moments, just a space where you can truly relax and trust the process. One thing that really sets Joseph apart is that before starting tattooing, he asks if you’d like to do a round of breathwork with him and Michelle. No matter what your initial thoughts might be, I recommend everyone try it. That small moment turned into something much bigger for me, he unlocked a whole new chapter in my life, and now breathwork is something I practice myself!! It’s rare to find an artist who not only delivers amazing work, but also creates an environment that feels safe, intentional, and personal. I’m grateful to still be coming back all these years later.

I can’t give enough praise to Joey. We just finished my leg piece, and I am completely obsessed!! He brought my vision to life so beautifully, and I trusted him every step of the way. It’s been such an amazing journey watching the piece come together. Michelle is equally incredible, so organized, communicative, and warm. Together, she and Joey create the most welcoming, intentional space. The shop itself has amazing energy, and all of the artists are so talented. This tattoo was deeply meaningful for me, and Joey made sure to honor that in a truly ceremonial way. I loved starting each session with cleansing and breathwork. Working with him has been an incredible experience, and I can’t recommend him enough. Who knows, maybe we’ll add on to my piece in the future 🤪
