Justin was the Absolute whip. Super cool dude and studio. As a small young woman, I’ve been in so many shops where I feel condescended to about my ‘girly’ or ‘basic’ tattoo requests and being bad with pain, but there was none of that with Justin. I felt very comfortable with all the artists in the shop who popped in and the vibe of the whole studio was very chill. He was receptive to the small changes I wanted to make to the design and made some Sick, unique art of the flowers we were looking for. I took my mom (61yrs old) to get matching flower tattoos, which she’s been wanting to do for Years and has been following Justin’s work for years, so it was a bucket list thing for her to get this tat and it Definitely lived up to her expectations. Thanks Justin and Studio 31!!!

Justin runs an excellent operation. Marianna was my artist and I recommend her 10 out of 10. She’s incredibly talented and easy going. She could have worked in silence all four hours leaving me to my own devices but we actually talked the entire four hours. It made the time fly. I haven’t stopped looking at my tattoo and I can’t speak highly enough about how well my session went. Thank you Marianna you are a pure Artist. Can’t wait to see you again

I have gone to Studio 31 3 times for tattoos and have always had a great experience. The shop is super clean and has a cool atmosphere and all of the artists do solid work! I had a piece done yesterday by Shoe on my calf and I had planned to do both calves in one sitting. After the first was done, we talked about how I was feeling and what the best approach would be as I wanted to get a bit more done but didn’t think I would be able to sit still for another 2+ hours. I asked if we could do the outline to get things started and Shoe gave me the pros and cons for that. I had seen a post about this same artist before, saying that he talked her out of doing what she wanted or said he could not do what she wanted. I had the complete opposite experience. He gave advice as to why it is better to do the entire thing in one sitting but also said try at it was my choice as I was the customer. I knew that I didn’t t know better than someone who has been doing it for 20+ years and took his advice. Needless to say, I will be going back in a few weeks to get my other calf done. Lastly, besides being knowledgeable, he does really great work! I highly recommend this place and also Shoe and Jason Banks (those are the only artists I have gotten ink from).

I had the best tattoo experience with Shoe. He was so consultative and worked with me to ensure my design was the right size, in the right spot, and conveyed the art I wanted. During the tattoo itself, he was super accommodating, easy to talk with, and open to adjusting if needed. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with him and I will be a client for life.
