Not even sure were to start. I found Sublime online and the amazing reviews that they have. I wanted to stop by and check the shop out and make an appointment. When we got there, there was no one else there and John was so welcoming. He answered all my questions and the atmosphere was awesome. He has the absolute softest hand. I got my tattoo on my wrist and it didn't even hurt. They close at 8 and I got there at 6:30. I showed John something that I wanted to get and he said that he would be able to do it right then for me. He said that he and his partner are always booked so it was unusual that he was available. I think it was fate. John knows his craft. John loves his craft. John loves to share his passion for tattooing with others and it is contagious. He is very easy to talk to and I found myself opening up a lot more than i normally would while getting tattooed. I have almost 40 tattoos and the one that I got from John is quickly becoming my favorite. The entire experience was A++++ and I can not give John enough praise. I am very grateful to have found Sublime Tattoo and in particular, Jesse. Although I have 3 previous tattoos they were all done many years ago when I was much younger and living in New Jersey. We are fairly new to Colorado and I just turned 70 years old. I decided that I would mark this auspicious birthday in our new state by getting a tattoo that represented where I was in my life journey. I was very anxious as it had been about 15 years since my last one. Jesse was so patient with me as we went back and forth about the design. I am so thrilled with how it turned out and have gotten many compliments on Jesse's art and his line work from fellow-tattooed family members and friends. I can't recommend Sublime enough. The atmosphere is welcoming and I felt very safe and well-cared for. I am already planning my next one. Maybe I'll do one every year in my 70's!
