I have been going to Supercuts at Nahatan Place in Norwood for a several months now. I always came to this location when I lived in Norwood 5 years ago, before moved for work. I have been seeing Shawna for my hair cuts, and I am very happy with her. I have also had my hair cut with Lex in the past. I have always had great experiences with the girls at this location and they do a great job.

JULIE was absolutely AMAZING with my mother, who has Alzheimer’s and gets easily disoriented and aggressive. Julie was patient and gentle with my mother. Took her time and never startled her. My mother never complained once and loved her hair cut too!! Thank you, so very much, Julie! (Now, in contrast, there was a hairstylist with a name beginning with “S” Sarasha or something like that. She wad very loud and was talking about how she got out of jury duty -an America civic responsibility- and was relieved because the person “didn’t even speak English”, and was one of those violent immigrants, from Ecuador or Guatemala, being charged for violence and drugs, and again kept repeating “didn’t speak English. Her bigotry and prejudice is shameful. But her spouting off this bigoted rhetoric in the hair salon is unacceptable, and should be addressed. It was upsetting to my mother who couldn’t understand her words but understood her tone. The hairstylist has no idea about the clients in the salon. As a dual National and a trilingual person (Spanish, Portuguese, and English) I was appalled and offended by “S”s” behavior. I had to speak to her and tell her to stop—That it wasn’t appropriate. Her personal politics need to stay at home.
