My mother Tina came in on Saturday with her friend Vicky. They got almost the exact same cut from the same stylist named Katie. My mom's friends haircut cost 25 bucks. Just like the last time they both got their hair cut. They both have short hair and went in for a trim. At checkout my mom and her friend were both told 25, my mom paid for hers with her card and tipped in cash. When she got home, not only was she charged 40 bucks on her card, but the back of her neck looks like someone was dragging the clippers across her skin or the blade was dull and was just pulling her hair out. Photos attached to show. This has NEVER happened before. Tom cut her hair last time and used clippers and not a single pinch or red rashy spot. I've been cutting my mom's hair for years and have never seen this happen. My mom said she loves the cut and Katie was really sweet but the overcharge on top of hacking up her neck is just not cool. My mother was not offered a receipt of any kind for this transaction either. The only way she found out was when she checked her account online. She will be contacting them in the morning about this but we just wanted to make this situation known in case it's not the first time. I will also update this review when and if this is resolved. I just cannot believe what the back of my mom's neck looks like. I can't say I've ever seen that happen before. On anyone. ETA: My mom spoke with Jessica who was beyond helpful and could not have been more understanding about this. She not only offered to refund the overcharge but she refunded the entire amount. She really went above and beyond making this right and we couldn't be more appreciative. I am updating my review to 5 stars based on this interaction alone. Also, I am adding 2 more photos of the back of her neck that I took this morning after the swelling had gone down. It looks like someone was just jabbing the clippers into the back of her. Maybe that stylist could use a bit more training with clippers. If your client is sitting in your chair and she has jumped or winced 6 or 7 times, that is a sign that you need to stop and make sure they are okay because something you are doing IS HURTING THEM! Your clients comfort is #1. At least that's what I was always taught.

Tom is a great stylist. Meticulous in getting hair even and trimmed cleanly and knowledgeable about styles and cuts. Listens closely to my description of cut I would like. Very personable and friendly while working. I highly recommend Tom's hair styling skill. Update: Jan 7 first cut of the new year and Tom was brilliant with his scissors. I highly recommend his services. Feb 4th. Another great haircut. I really appreciate the way Tom carefully listens to what I want and then does it!
