I haven't had a professional haircut in over a decade, and after a bad experience at another hairdresser was a little afraid to try again. A friend recommended Tapers to me, and even checked with the team that they'd be able to do the haircut I was looking for. Chris was fantastic - quick work, gave me exactly the haircut I wanted, and (though it sounds like a small thing) did a very good job of making sure there weren't any little irritating clipped hairs to bother the back of my neck afterwards. My hair looks the best it's ever looked since I was able to choose a haircut for myself.

My daughter had her first experience at a hairdressers and wanted a big change ! Long to short hair, the lady who cut her hair was very lovely and helped me decide on what was best to do with her hair. She made my daughter feel very comfortable.

I've been using this salon for many years and find the staff accommodating, friendly and helpful. There's a sign outside to say 'walk-in' appointments available. Reasonably priced and happy to take cash or card payments. They cater for all ages. It's set on a nice Square with other shops including a lovely butchers, newsagents, takeaways as well as their own Tapers Beauty Salon too.
