About Tattoo Factory of Gastonia
Locals know that when folks want ink in Gastonia, Tattoo Factory of Gastonia has become a fixture. They're the place where folks go for everything from delicate line work to full sleeves, walk-ins, or custom pieces dreamed up over many sessions. The artists there truly listen, and the comfortable atmosphere makes the whole process feel more like collaborating with a friend than simply getting a tattoo.
The customer journey always feels personal and focused. From the initial consultation, where they take the time to understand what someone really wants, through the actual tattooing, they make sure the customer is comfortable and informed. The hum of the machines and the smell of disinfectant is a familiar, comforting backdrop, and the artists are always up for a chat while they work. It's the kind of place where clients become regulars, not just for the quality of the work, but for the whole experience. Tattoo Factory of Gastonia has earned its solid 4.3-star rating across numerous platforms by consistently providing a clean, professional, and genuinely friendly atmosphere. Shout out to Justin! We decided to come here spontaneously on a Friday night and it was packed. We were Justin’s last clients before they closed and despite how busy and late it was… he was still nice, seemed to genuinely care, and his work was amazing. He helped give us advice, talked with us, and his line work/shading is so good. We love our tattoos and can’t wait to go back!
Christian Freeman — 5/5 (via Google)
We were greeted right away and waited only 5–10 minutes. David was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, explained why certain piercings wouldn’t work for our anatomy, and offered safer alternatives. He was also patient, reassuring, and thorough with aftercare instructions. Best piercing experience I’ve had in a long time! Thanks David, the girls and I will be back soon!!

Autumn was amazing! 🎉She was patient, kind and very knowledgeable, answered all our questions! . Autumn was exceptional with my granddaughter who was getting her ears pierced for her 7th birthday!🥳When it was my turn for my piercing, on my upper lobe, I felt no discomfort at all!! 💕Thank you Autumn, Ms LuLu 🌻

OMG!!! David is amazing!! I got my third lobe and a helix piercing, and he was incredibly patient. He has such a calming demeanor that he made my daughter and me feel completely comfortable. So much so that she ended up getting her second nose and third lobe piercings—she even wanted to get a smiley afterwards! The staff was inviting and the studio was clean and sanitized. We will definitely be back. Thank you, David!
