I gifted myself my first tattoo for my birthday and I could not have picked a better place to make it happen. The Asylum is an amazing, safe, and empowering space. Alisha makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in the door. My nerves melted away and I was able to be in the moment with no worries. The communication prior to my appointment about my design, and the patience Alisha had with last minute size tweaks on the day of my appointment was fantastic. I love my tattoo and I can’t wait to head back for the next one! Thank you for your support and empowerment of women Alisha!

I had the most amazing first tattoo experience with Alisha! Her space is so cute and cozy and she makes you feel right at home. I made a few adjustments to what she originally drew up and she was so patient to help me get to a final design that I LOVE! I’m so happy I chose The Asylum for my first tattoo! Had a wonderful experience getting a tattoo by Alisha at The Asylum during her Wicked pin-up day event. She is a beautiful artist, and the vibe in her shop is awesome. She is meticulous about cleanliness and makes sure you have all of the tattoo care instructions that you need. Very friendly and fun atmosphere. My cousin and I had a great time bonding over our love for Wicked and our new tattoos. 🩷 💚 Will definitely be back for future ink. 🫶🏼

Choosing The Asylum Ink and Alisha was the BEST decision! The whole vibe is exactly what we were looking for and the experience from start to finish was perfection. The inquiry form and uploading an inspo pic was super easy. Scheduling and paying the deposit, too. Upon arrival there is a form / waiver to complete and then you see what she created for you and are able to make tweaks. (There are sizes / packages in which you could see them ahead of your appointment, but mine was not one of them.) I loved her design from the start! I made one added request which she easily added and then we worked on sizing and placement. My whole appointment took about 2 hours from walking in the door to taking a few photos afterwards! Cool, clean, comfy, fun vibe all around. Great music playing, not too loudly so we could still chat and have some good laughs, bright and spacious.

I first learned of The Asylum from an online posted Taylor Swift themed event. When I stopped in to check it out, it was the most welcoming environment of women making bracelets, listening to music and getting adorable tattoos! When another TSwift flash round was offered, I knew my sister and I had to jump at the opportunity! Alisha’s space is so welcoming, and it was such a special experience to get tattooed with my sister! I even reached out afterwards, to see if my tattoo could be changed slightly and Alisha went above and beyond to accommodate me. This was such a fun memory I will never forget, and my sister and I are already planning to return to The Asylum for more tattoos!
