This was the first time I've had a beard long enough to need a trim, but I had an important job interview the next day so wanted to look sharp. Holy crap was I pleased with the outcome of my trim by Pat!!!! He did an absolutely amazing job and I couldn't be happier. Not to mention he was friendly, professional, offered me advice, and is all-in-all just a good guy. I was definitely more confident for my interview. In addition, the atmosphere of the place was welcoming and pleasant, and very clean. A+++++

The Dapper Wolf is an absolute gem. The new place is warm– from decor to the cozy chairs, the owner Andy, has nailed the vibe. Andy is a wizard with scissors✂️ ; he’s cut my hair for 10+ years and has yet to disappoint. The ambiance is top-notch, making it a truly enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a spot that combines style and skill, this is it!

What an awesome first experience at this gem of a shop, conveniently located on the west side of St Paul for this "west metro/downtown Minneapolis" guy. I went in without a specific haircut/style in mind, but instead, went in with how I needed my new style to work with my life. Andy was my barber for my first time there and he clearly listened to everything I had to say and swiftly produced a plan that matched exactly what I wanted. He communicated his ideas expertly and fully demonstrated his skills with a scissors! I was very impressed with the feel/vibe of the shop. You immediately got the sense that it was full of stylists that truly cared about their craft and their clientele... yet it felt as far from stuffy and pretentious as one could get. I just felt comfortable with my surroundings the minute I entered. I was graciously welcomed inside and the waiting area was plenty comfortable to hang out in until my appointment time. Andy was promptly on time and had me out of the chair exactly at the time he said he would. There is a part of me that wants to give this place a bad review so that I have a better chance of getting back on the calendar. But anything bad I'd have to say would truly be a lie and I'll just have to be patient to get back on Andy's calendar.
