⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Richard at The Great Commission Barbershop is outstanding! We are new to Bed-Stuy, and today my husband took our 12-year-old son to Richard to get his hair cut after having a great experience himself recently. Once again, Richard delivered. He has now done a fantastic job for both my husband and our special needs son, and each time the results have been sharp, polished, and exactly what we hoped for. This is a busy Brooklyn barbershop with multiple chairs going, clippers buzzing, blow dryers running, and conversations overlapping, just the way a place like this should be, but it can be a lot for a kid like ours. Richard worked with total calm and confidence in the middle of it all and spent lots of time making sure our son looked suave. This was after he sent my husband home to me more handsome than ever! Richard is patient, talented, and professional with awesome results. He handles clipper work, scissor cutting, fades, and styling with precision, but just as importantly, he maintains a steady, respectful presence. My son stayed seated, followed directions, tolerated the sensory input, and left proud of his haircut. That confidence matters more than anything. Richard is the real deal.
