I took my son to a few barber shops here in Toledo.. and my son was never happy until I took him to.. THE LINE UP BARBER SHOP.. Ryan was his barber..my son got the cut that he wanted my son was happy.

They were super busy but continued to take their time on each customer. The wait was pretty enjoyable with good music, TV and lots of laughter. Not to mention a fresh haircut.

I’m gonna do five stars just because it’s a great atmosphere, accommodating, friendly and 99.99% my son has had a great hair cut. I personally get kind of geeked over the big TVs during futbol ⚽️ season. Our last visit, my son hated his hair. That’s why I said 99.99% because majority he’s gotten a great style. On our last visit was not his favorite. Keep in mind my son is white, but we’ve been going there since 2022 and I am planning for another appointment. They do tend to get busy and sometimes they can’t get to the phone right away. We’re in the area, so we’ll have to probably stop by to actually ask about his specific style that he wants. I’m not sure it’s provided. He wants a perm at the top of his hair, and a fade, a Ryan Trehan style. He’s got some really thick good hair. I know my heartburn said so when I was pregnant for him! Anyways, he’s a tween and wants to feel out new styles from his usual, which I completely respect in moderation. He doesn’t want anything drastic so I find it fair and appropriate. He says “Mom, just please don’t ever let them give me another low taper fade!” I said, “but it really wasn’t that bad. I mean they still took us at last minute, and you had a lot of freaking hair! Besides, your hair grows fast. I’ll clean up the back of your neck and you’ll be good! Don’t let one small unliked experience ruin the rest of the good ones you’ve had.” I have to tell the story! After we got home from that haircut, “Mom! I still have hair on the back of my neck, my sides are almost bald and LOOK! JUST LOOK AT MY FOREHEAD!” Let me tell you, I tried so hard to be understanding of his reaction but when I tell you, I could not hold back! 🫢🤣 At that moment, I fell out! Just because of the way he was mad in the cutest way. He roasted himself for weeks. His confidence was discombobulated that he’d randomly goof out “Lowwww tappppeerr faaadeee!” I wasn’t laughing at his feelings. We know each other well enough that he already knows that. He knows I am his biggest supporter. We have a great relationship and we love us! He was born by an emergency C-Section, it’s not his fault he’s got a big head and thick hair. I would encourage him that’s why he’s so smart, more brain room to learn and love; and his hair is freaking awesome! He really does have good hair! There was a little scissor happy, but I additionally think it was a shock for him because of how much hair he had, to how little he had after; it was like velvet on the sides and back! Regardless, we will go back. I often giggle about it because his reaction to that cut was one of the cutest madness I ever seen him have. He wasn’t nasty or raging, just mad shocked because the barber took a bit too much and his hairline was too high and too straight. It’s all good, and we still have love for the barber shop!
