I had the best hair experience at The Melange on Chatsworth Road! As a local with a head full of mixed, unruly, frizzy curls, I was a bit nervous walking in—especially as I'm planning for my wedding and no idea how to tame my hair (or even if it could ever be tamed) but not only did they deliver but they also had loads of tips to help me manage on my own at home. They worked magic with a special protein treatment that left my hair smooth, shiny, and totally manageable, I was desperate to lose some volume in my hair and they've helped me get the volume down by at least 60% exactly what I wanted, they also gave me a really good trim to help me improve the condition. The whole team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind —owned by a lovely couple who are true Hackney locals who make you feel right at home. The salon itself is a cozy little haven, and the best part? An adorable puppy called Coco who loves to cuddle customers! It’s the kind of place where you can sip a coffee, chat with the stylists, and leave feeling fabulous. Bonus: it’s right on Chatsworth Road, which turns into a buzzing food market on Sundays—perfect for a post-haircut stroll and lunch. Highly recommend The Melange for anyone looking for expert hair care with a personal touch. Thank you The Melange! I will be back 100%!

I am fascinated with the attention of the staff, I also loved the process and the treatments they applied to my hair. I asked for a color change and they worked excellently with high standards and with great professionalism. When applying the color to my hair, they explained the entire process to me in detail and in the end the result was fantastic. It was the best anniversary gift from my husband, that's why I give them 100/100. 🥰🥰. I recommend them
