I recently had the immense pleasure of getting a portrait tattoo of my daughter from Paul, and I’m overwhelmed by how perfectly he captured her essence. From start to finish, the experience was extraordinary. **First impressions:** - He took the time to listen to our ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the mood we wanted to capture. **Skill and artistry:** - The level of detail is astonishing. The fine lines, shading, and contrast bring her smile to life in a way that photographs simply can’t convey. - The portrait has a timeless quality; it looks like a cherished painting as much as a tattoo. - Paul’s ability to balance realism with a touch of softness makes the piece feel both true to life and artistically alive. **Process and professionalism:** - The consultation was thorough, with clear explanations of size, placement, and aftercare. - He walked us through every step, showing progress photos and making adjustments with patience and care. - The workspace was clean, welcoming, and respectful of our comfort and needs. **Color and longevity:** - The color work is vibrant yet tasteful, and the lines are crisp. - Paul recommended aftercare routines that have helped the tattoo heal beautifully and maintain its longevity. **Impact:** - Seeing my daughter’s portrait on my skin feels incredibly personal and meaningful. It’s a constant reminder of her resilience, joy, and the moment we captured together. If you’re considering a portrait tattoo, I wholeheartedly recommend Paul. His talent, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients shine through in every aspect of his work. Thank you, Paul, for turning a precious moment into a work of art that I’ll cherish forever.

This world-class tattoo studio deserves over 5 stars. Once you get tattooed here, you won’t want to go anywhere else. I had the honor of getting a piece done by Paul Acker, and no words can describe his amazing talent and the outcome of my tattoo. This shop also has many other talented artists, so don’t let this studio go unchecked. Inside, it is also beautifully decorated and very clean. I highly recommend The Séance Tattoo Parlor and will be coming back!

Had an excellent experience with Seance Tattoo! The staff and artists are extremely kind and welcoming. The shop is very clean and sanitary. Paul is doing an amazing job on starting my sleeve. Can’t wait to get back in and see what he does next. Great art is being done here. This is where you want your tattoos done.

This was the best tattoo experience I've had in all of my almost 30 years of getting tattooed. The process of submitting my application was handled very quickly, and any correspondence I had with the shop was answered within a day. I've never had that experience of such efficiency. The manager of the shop, Mike, went above and beyond to make all of the clients in the shop feel comfortable. He was super nice and super attentive. Hands down, I got the absolute best, most incredible tattoo I've ever gotten, from Rob. He did a cover up for me, and I wanted an Edgar Allan Poe portrait. It's mind-blowingly awesome. He's a really chill, nice guy too. So I am 1000% going back, and any other tattoos I want, I will be going to Seance. Oh, and the decor in there, is seriously awesome!
