This review is long overdue but I just want to shout out how amazing of a job Tic Tac Toe is when it comes to doing my daughter’s hair. She has had braids(box, knotless,ect) along with having her hair relaxed, flat ironed and styled. The care that goes into each style is unmatched and I genuinely appreciate the ladies patience, effort and time. I also love how they play music while you are getting your hair done so you can relax and chill. I have attached 2 different pictures showcasing their work below.

This review is long overdue! I went to TicTacToe Hair Lounge for a silk press appointment with Myia, and from start to finish—welcome, wash, condition, blow dry, and press—it was an absolute joy being in her chair. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about hair, which is exactly why I booked with her in the first place. She truly values hair health and educating her clients, and that’s so important to me. Even though she usually wears protective styles, her own hair is down her back! She told me she’d never do anything to a client’s hair that she wouldn’t do to her own, and that immediately put me at ease. It was easy to build trust with her as a new client knowing she cared for my hair the same way she does hers. We talked through products, process, and my long-term hair goals. I appreciated how she explained each product she used and why—it showed her expertise and made me feel part of the process. I also mentioned my now 16-month-old daughter, and Myia went above and beyond by sharing tips to promote healthy hair growth for her too. She even encouraged me to start good habits early so my daughter grows up enjoying hair care—and I’m happy to say it’s been working beautifully for both of us! One of my biggest worries with new stylists is heat damage, but Myia delivered perfection. My silk press was smooth, shiny, and healthy—and when I washed my hair later, it reverted back to my natural curls effortlessly. No damage, no flatiron smell, no excessive washing or treatments needed. It was such a relaxing and refreshing self-care day, and I’m already looking forward to sitting in her chair again. Myia is truly gifted, and I’m so thankful to have found her!

I was in need of an emergency wash this past Sunday so I googled salons near me and I found “Tic Tac Toe Hair Lounge”. I was able to get an appointment in less than 15 minutes. Lanira “Lala” personally did my hair and she was very welcoming from the time I spoke to her on the phone. As she did my hair, she made sure I was comfortable and she took her time with my hair. My hair is natural, long and was very course and was in need of some TLC and that is exactly what I received. Lala did not burn me once when she pressed my hair, and she did not pull my hair to comb it out. Even when my hair was done, she was not going to let me leave because she wanted to make sure I was satisfied. I haven’t had a press last more than a day in a long time and I love my curls. I have received so many compliments from my coworkers and my family love it. Even though the price at the end was out of my range, I was VERY HAPPY with the service that I received and I will do it again.

I recently visited the salon for my daughter to get some lemonade braids with a heart and the service was top notch. Our Stylist Sydney was amazing and did great with her hair. Lanira was great helping setting up the appointment and communicating the details. Best part was the vibe of an old school salon! Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

Tic Tac Toe is a vibe. Good music and great stylist; they make you feel comfortable and are so knowledgeable. Two weeks ago, I booked an appointment for my daughter to receive a silk press with Jamia. Upon examining her hair and scalp, Jamia recommended a hair/scalp treatment, making sure her scalp was healthy. She was a saint, cause my child had a little attitude during the service, 😬😂. Jamia was very reassuring to us both and was extremely professional. Today, it was my turn to get my hair done and I booked with Jolie for a curly cut. We started the appointment with a consultation, discussing what shape I was looking for and how to properly care for my curls. She too is a saint, because she rehabbed a botched haircut I received from another salon. Both myself and my daughter will definitely be returning and I cannot recommend this salon enough!!
