I was traveling and needed a cut and beard trim before meetings on Monday and Mo worked me in late on a Saturday afternoon. I was lucky to have driven by and I really appreciate the opportunity to get a late Saturday afternoon walk in, friendly conversation and a good cut/ trim at a great price. I hope to return. Took my 7 yr old to get his haircut and he normally can’t sit still. They made him feel comfortable and they had arcade games too keep him busy while I got my line up. Great vibe and atmosphere definitely going back.

Tie is the man! I just moved to Austin, had a terrible experience with another barber. Found Tie nearby, asked if he could do emergency repair. He was solo in the shop and booked all day, but he squeezed me in regardless (I'm pretty sure he cut into his lunch break for me). While I waited, I witnessed him give the cleanest cut to this adorable kid. Tie made his client (maybe 4 or 5 years old) feel comfortable in the chair while he masterfully executed his craft. Little man walked out of there wearing a huge smile on his face, absolutely bursting with confidence – it was genuinely a beautiful interaction to see. I hopped in the chair, he gave me his professional opinion, evened me out as best as he could considering, revisited some sloppy areas from the previous debacle, and had me on my way. So don't make the same mistake I did; take your mop to Tie's Barbershop!

I was from out of town and had found this shop on Google and decided to go in since it had good reviews. Tie did not let me down one of the best haircuts I've gotten in a long time. The shop was clean and he was very professional and knowledgeable. It's definitely the only barbershop I'm going to when in Austin!
