After having back surgery, I had a week’s worth of beard that I needed to do something with. Just by happenstance, I called Tony’s Barber Studio out of the blue to ask if they would trim up a beard. He told me yes and that it was first come, first serve on Saturdays. Having never been there before, I walked right in and a guy asked me if he could help me. I rubbed my beard, and he said, oh, you’re the guy for a trim, come and sit right down. Tony, who turned out to be the owner, was very cordial and easy to talk with. I felt right at home immediately. Although 40-45 years apart, we both served in the military, and that gave us great common ground to have really interesting conversations. … Now back to the week’s worth of beard. I told Tony that I’ve never worn any facial hair other than a mustache back in the 70’s while in the Army, but would like to consider a goatee. I gave him full control. Tony and I kept taking, all the while he worked his clippers. He finished up, and I felt good about the job he’d done, after shaking his hand I went away feeling like I’d just met a new friend. I believe Tony to be a first rate individual, operating a very nice three chair Barbershop. It’s clear to me, he’s a credit to his upbringing and a professional of his trade. It’s great to see a young man like Tony proudly operating a small business like his in St. Cloud. Keep up the great work Tony, I fully appreciated my time in your chair. I’d recommend Tony’s Barber Studio to anyone. Thanks

Tony’s Barber Studio, right across from the library in St. Cloud, is a place where you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I came as a walk-in, and Tony took me in right away. The shop had modern rap playing, walls covered in haircut posters, canvas prints of his work, and photos of his kids that gave the place a personal, lived-in feel. I asked for a high bald fade and a trim on top. My hair is thick, but Tony handled it like a pro. He could tell I didn’t know much about hair, and he took care of everything with confidence. While cutting, he shared his story. A rich history of living in St. Cloud and a proud father of three. He spoke about his experience in life and his dream of creating a haircut experience tailored for kids with sensory needs. Tony balances professionalism with genuine personality. He knows how to read people, hold a great conversation, and make everyone feel comfortable. He also supports local schools and sports, and he helps other barbers in his shop build their businesses. Kevin, one of the barbers there, paid close attention to every detail and made sure his client was relaxed and happy the whole time. Even after my cut was done, Tony kept making small adjustments. Exactly what you would expect from a professional barber studio. I left with a great haircut and even better vibes. This is where I’ll be going from now on.
