⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried and True Tattoo is hands down the best on Kauai! Cory and Danny are incredibly kind, professional, and so talented. They’ve taken great care of me and my family, and their work always exceeds expectations. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your next one, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Really grateful for Cory and Danny! My wife and I had booked an appointment to get tattoos done to honor our daughters adoption at the start of our stay in Kauai and when it came time for the appointment at the end of our trip the artist fell ill and wasn’t able to do it. We walked into their shop and they were able to help us with what we wanted and they did an amazing job. I had Cory and my wife had Danny.

I received a tattoo years ago from this location. I wasn't 100% happy with the final product and always wanted something worked over or corrected. They were happy to accommodate even though it was an ex-employee. Danny did the new work and he worked wonders, it turned out amazing. He covered up pawprints that ceased to be pawprints anymore. I can't even see where they were! Thank you for creating something I didn't even know I needed. Great work! And both he and Cory are kind to boot. Need a tattoo here on island check them out. Would add a photo but it isn't giving me the option.

Amazing experience, Danny was our tattoo artist, and he was great. My wife checked reviews of shops and looked at all the art from the artists on the island, and his stood out by far. We called ahead at the begining of our trip and he was able to do a quick consult based off of what we wanted, and then he scheduled our tattoos for our last day in town so we wouldn't get burns or water on our fresh tattoos. The shop was clean, cool, and very comfortable, Danny made us feel like we were in our own house. We took plenty of breaks, and the best part is the amazing artwork. He is a true artist who loves input from the customer and will take the time to make sure everything is right and positioned correctly. The prices are on point for the time spent and the quality of work done. I'm sure there are cheaper places close by, but you get what you pay for, and I would not have wanted to go anywhere else. He spent the entire day working on only me and my wife. I'm definitely planning on going back again next year and getting another piece done.

Perfect... Not only did Cory do a perfect job but he went way beyond... A very simple tattoo.. he added intense detail.. I've never been so happy with a tattoo in my life. 110 percent PERFECT! I hate to use the same word over and over but my tattoo is perfect it's beyond my dreams.. I could not think of anybody, anywhere on earth that could have done a better job.. the lines are incredible.. The quality of workmanship, the concern, the sanitation, the environment, absolutely the only tattoo shop I would ever go to again! Do not go anywhere else! THANK YOU!
