We moved to Rhode Island a few years ago. Previous to that, I had the same stylist for 20 years. She was wonderful and a hard act to follow. I tried many salons since we moved and have just had a difficult time finding someone who understood how to color and cut my hair. After spending a significant amount of money, I would stop on the way home and buy Color Oops from CVS and wash most of it out! I recently went to Jen at Uptown Salon in Westerly, Rhode Island. She is absolutely amazing, had me come in for a free consultation beforehand so she knew how long I would need, and then just transformed my hair and I left feeling great! I had just about given up on ever liking my hair again, but I left with exactly what I was looking for, and my hair is healthier than it’s ever been. It was a long process and, because she had to undo the chemical damage done elsewhere, it was a little more than I would normally spend, but she said maintaining it will be less involved, and it’s worth it to just not have to think about my hair! She has such a solid understanding of the chemistry involved in color and on gentle treatments for hair, plus, she gave me a great cut. On top of everything, she is just a wonderful lady and I really enjoyed talking to her. I highly recommend Uptown Salon and especially, Jen.

I just wanted to mention how pleased I've been with Uptown Salon here in Westerly. I've been going for many years now, and my hairdresse, Angie, is funny and fabulous! The other employees are true jems!! Especially, at the front desk! Always cheerful, helpful and just plain awesome!!!! Thank you all for your fantastic service!❣️

I have been going to Uptown Salon for the past 15 years!!! I have always received excellent service!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. The stylists are great and do a wonderful job on their clients. My nail tech Connie is the best in the business!! I have the most beautiful nails every 2 weeks!! I love her!!!! The receptionists are awesome! Lori and Caitlin are always friendly and go out if their way to help you. I can't say enough on how much I love this salon. I would highly recommend them for any of their services!!!

I have been going here for years, and have never once had a bad experience. My hair stylist Circee, and truly all the staff are nothing but professional and fun to be around. The atmosphere is truly the best and relaxing. I recommend this salon to everyone and will continue to do so. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Eloped this weekend and had booked Odie for a wedding hairdo not sure what exactly I wanted and makeup. Odie was professional, prompt, and made me feel comfortable the minute I met her. She created an up do and totally nailed the makeup. Our wedding was simply perfect. thank you Odie! Call ahead and go to this salon! They also have facials massages pedicures etc. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you!!
