We took our son here for his first haircut and it was so great. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and the front desk staff greeted us right away and was very friendly. Jinaya did such a great job cutting our son’s hair. She made it look easy and effortless as he moved his head looking around in curiosity during the cut, and was calm and comforting at the end when he started to get a bit whiney. She made sure to keep some on the top so he still has his cute curls as it’s dried. Added a before and after pic, so you can see her wonderful work. ☺️ We will definitely be back, and appreciate WhimsiKids for making his first experience so wonderful. He literally didn’t want to leave thanks to their fun play set up! ☺️

Anne is an amazing stylist! She is always so attentive, calm, and caring when giving our child a haircut. Whimsikidz is a wonderful hair salon for children, and we always have a great experience there!

We had Antonia and she was absolutely wonderful. Super friendly and worked quickly. We will absolutely be back. Edited: Toddler haircut no longer available. Unfortunately will need to fine some place else as $26 for a ten minute haircut is more than we’re willing to spend on our two year old’s haircut.

I’ve been to Whimsikidz three times with my son and we’ve always had a great experience. The first two times I took him he had a hard time, but they were so patient with him and never made us feel bad. Today we took him and saw Cassie and she was great. He actually found the whole thing funny this time and she gave him a great haircut. He’s only two, so I’m glad he’s starting to associate the hair salon with positive feelings. I’d highly recommend!

I recently took my 15 month old to get his very first little hair cut. We had Addisen and she was super sweet! Very patient with him while he was navigating all the new things like the feeling of clippers on his head, lol. I loved the atmosphere and the staff all seemed very sweet and kind. Addisen did great on his hair as best as she could since he was moving so much and we love it. BUT, and I say this with grace because we did have a late (ish) appointment at 4:20 p.m, I felt like it could have been a bit cleaner. The play area had a bunch of salt on the ground from outside, toys were kind of dirty, they had a playhouse that definitely could use a cleaning. Now maybe its set up more for bigger kids? Not sure. Personally my son is not quite walking yet but he wanted to play so badly so I let him, but his hands and jeans were filthy after :( The play area in my opinion seems targeted for smaller children like 1-3 years old, so I feel like it definitely should be kept up with more for those babes who aren’t walking yet. Considering little kids put everything in their mouth lol, the salt all over the ground was definitely iffy for me. Again I say that with grace because our appointment was more in the afternoon and maybe they hadn’t had a chance to pick up yet, but I think it could use a little more up-keeping. Overall I loved the establishment and the staff, the vibes were definitely there! I would most likely bring my son back, but maybe wait until he has walking down pact so he’s not crawling all over the play area.
