Customer Reviews for Why Knot Massage
Isabel Valero — 5/5 (via Google)
I booked a 60min full body massage with Shannon and it was well worth it! Not only did Shannon do an incredibly thorough massage where every movement she did was with great intention, she was so easy to connect with on a personal level! You can quite literally feel the experience that she has in her profession. The price point is exceptional as well. I swear there are other professionals that charge $90 for a 30 minute session! So the fact that there is an affordable shop available to the community in lovely. I also found that her space is beautifully crafted. Overall, it was incredibly relaxing and healing experience. I will be returning in the future!

Why Knot Massage with Laurie and Shannon is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you feel seen, cared for, and completely at ease. Laurie and Shannon are not only incredibly skilled, but they are also deeply kind and compassionate people who genuinely listen and tailor each session to exactly what your body and mind need. They take the time to understand where you are holding tension, pain, or stress, and their approach is never routine or generic. Every session feels intentional, thoughtful, and customized. You can tell they care deeply about helping you heal, not just physically, but emotionally as well. Their presence alone is calming, and their work reflects both expertise and heart. You leave feeling lighter, restored, and supported in a way that goes far beyond a typical massage. It’s rare to find practitioners who combine such professionalism with such authentic compassion. I cannot recommend Why Knot Massage, Laurie, and Shannon highly enough. They create a space where healing truly happens.
Karen Bennett — 5/5 (via Google)
Laurie is an exceptional massage therapist. She is knowledgeable, intuitive, and truly knows how to work your muscles effectively. From the moment you arrive, you feel cared for, relaxed, and completely at ease. When I was in pain, she graciously added me to her already busy schedule, which meant so much. She never makes you feel rushed — only supported and pampered. I highly recommend her!
Deanna Nolasco — 5/5 (via Google)
Booked a couples massage last minute during the off season and Laurie and Shannon were happy to accommodate. The massage tables were heated and we were given warm eye masks which was a nice surprise. Laurie was fantastic with her head to toe deep tissue massage and released several knots that were bothering me for days. My partner enjoyed his firm pressure massage with Shannon. We arrived sluggish and left feeling brand new. Thank you Laurie & Shannon!
Morgan Tarrant — 5/5 (via Google)
I had never had a full body massage and was nervous. Shannon was so kind and explained everything that was going to happen so I could fully relax and release. Her massage expertise combined with energy work was incredible. I had not felt so relaxed and released in years. The studio was beautiful, calm, and clean. She was attentive to my body and energy needs. I will definitely be going back the next time we are in town!
